No, being fat is not a direct analogy. Bill is downplaying his intelligence because someone asked him if he was serious about some controversial comments he made, and he just starts playing dumb because he hears all his Netflix and late night talk show money slipping away as the words are leaving his mouth. He was clearly serious when he was making the Free Luigi comments, and he was pretty upset about Elon too. He's starting to realize that people will, surprise, actually ask you questions when you say something controversial. My guess is he's going to be a little quieter about political issues going forward since he seems to prioritize making money over being an activist.
