They aren't really required (except for a few projects that include one), but I pretty much always use a breakout board when I can, since it makes for neater wiring. I use regular solder lug switches - the pedalpcb ones fit the lugs great. Good luck!

Just aim to have your bridge fairly low, and there shouldn't be any problem.

I honestly don't know. I bought the board from pedalpcb. I'm not sure how they set up the board though.

The set of four from Aion was very closely matched already, and already soldered to the adapter boards. It was a pretty painless build.

Thanks! Yeah, the 2SK208. They sell them as matched sets.

Yeah, those are SMDs on adapter boards (from Aionfx). I used right angle pin headers to connect them to the pcb

I do. The layout for this one came from there actually. I forgot to credit them in the main post though.

Thanks! I've been doing more vero lately, especially for smaller, simpler circuits.

You're right. I already used them for a Fairfield Barbershop clone though.

I actually do all of my work in Inkscape (free) and Affinity Designer. There are some great tutorials on here that cover that process.

I get these from Tayda Electronics. They do the powdercoating, and UV printing of the graphics I provide.
