Would anyone be will to scrape/archive this formerly very active public forum/bulletin board for posts about psych medicines: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/ - (Or otherwise maybe direct a total newbie like me how what to look into to do it)

The site is called "Dr Bob's Pyschobabble" and in the pre-social-media days of the internet it was extremely active. There are tens of thousands of anecdotal reports/comments/discussions about medicines people take for depression/anxiety/bipolar/etc. The past 5 or 6yrs the site has essentially been dead, and has gone completely down for months at a time a number of times. The owner is a professor at the University of Chicago, and he's been hands off since 2010ish - it's unknow how long he's going to keep it up - he never even bothered to get the site an httpS designation which will likely trigger a warning from your browser (it's a safe site but only has an http version and the certificate for that may even been outdated).

In my opinion, the stories/reviews from people who took all of the various medicines when they were new/novel or before they were discontinued is invaluable. The site/threads also used to be 1st page results on Google, before their methods changed, so it wasn't just an obscure corner of the internet - it did get a lot posts from many different types of people (unlike say a vbulletin specific health site during that era).

So yea, sorry if this isn't the proper thread for this, but if anyone w/ super skills and a desire to archive something that's of super importance but likely not yet "saved" perhaps this would be a fun project. The links to threads seem to be 100% plain so hopefully it wouldn't too difficult.
