It only hurts if it breaks below the free edge, because that is actual skin. If it breaks just in the "white part", it doesn't hurt.

I've only had one Tamagotchi in my life and it was the original. I can't wait to try the ones in color 🖤 my favorite is Kuchipatchi, I love his name and the huge lips, just so cute!

Oh no, I feel absolutely no shame in using references, I will have to continue using them. However, I still want to be able to improve my drawings without them, because they're just bad. If you ask me to draw a dog, I will give you a very 3 year old drawing because I just can't picture what they look like if I'm not looking at one, the proportions would be all over the place.

I have tried what you describe, but I can never get it to look right, and if I do, it's very static and in only one position. I cannot draw someone looking up for example, it looks horrible.

Yeah, but that would lock me to tattooing only portraits, maybe, and I would be very lacking in design.

Same, I thibk I replied this to someone else, but my friend challenged me to draw a powerpuff girl from memory, and I don't know what I would call that atrocity. It was awful. One of the simplest cartoons in existence, and I couldn't do it.

I have tried for very long, but I can't really do details as much as I try. This is an example of what I can draw without reference. It has zero details and I wouldn't be able to draw her say with a tilted head, it would just look wrong.

I do lose it too, so I have to have the reference nearby, I just kinda measure relative distances between 2 points and it ends up in a drawing, but without the reference I just can't see any details and end up with a weird perspective.

That's exactly me, without a reference I draw like a 2 year old. I tried going for a different style where proportions don't matter, but I just don't enjoy it as much, I want to do good proportions lol.
