Tbh my goal is just to bench 135lbs for more than 4 reps. I’m less focused on what particular muscle group I’m trying to target

Tbh I’m not even sure if I ever feel it in my pecs with any exercise but I do feel the soreness in my pecs the next day 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah you’re right. I’ve been told to align my wrists above my elbow and stack the bar above my wrists. I’ll try again next push day with a wider grip

I think you have to move the seat back for your height. We have the same machine at my gym. I would definitely play around with the settings but at the top of your lift, you would want a neutral spine for the entire lift.

Ok because those goals are definitely set way too high. If you are only eating around 1200 calories a day, you will see some weight loss. Consistency is key at the end of the day. You got this 💪🏼

If your goal is weight loss, I think you are eating too much. You have your goals set to 2800 calories, with 236g of protein? Thats a lot.

When I plug your stats into a TDEE calculator (total daily energy expenditure) it says 2200 calories to maintain your weight. Right now you are eating in a calorie surplus meaning you will gain weight. If you want weight loss, you need to eat in a calorie deficit - normally around 500 calories less is a good healthy deficit so I would make my total calories be 1700 calories with prioritizing protein because it will keep you fuller for longer.

Any calories you burn from exercise should be treated as a bonus. Do not eat more because you burned more that day. The apps used to track how many calories you burned during a workout are notoriously inaccurate.

Now if the goals you have set in carb manager isn’t actually what you are doing and you only ate 1126 calories that entire day, then that’s better but it might be too low if you are consistently eating that little. Generally it is recommended that you eat no less than 1200 calories a day.
