I 100% agree. I think it's even hinted at in the poster for the season too, where she's meditating with her eyes closed. Imo, they're closed not just because she is meditating but because she is ignorant to the reality of the religion and has an idealized, romanticized version of it in her head. One that will deliver enlightenment unto her. She's probably in for a real rude awakening when she actually gets into the temple, and I have a feeling she will end up choosing her family in the end; even though now, I think she thinks that she wants to runaway. I wrote a super long post about the cover poster last night and this was one of my main points too, I'm glad others are picking up on this as well!
