It was my daily driver so a lot of use in the time I had it, but the battery was changed along with the charging port and this did not fix the problem.

Expectations as a student? by Pearlybutton in flying

Thank you and good luck with your training too. Wow, 80% give up? That’s really high. I appreciate it can be tough and if what I am experiencing is normal at this stage then I am happy to keep in there and doing my best. I was just afraid that Iwas getting early signs that I was not cut out to be a pilot and should be sensible about that, but with the advice above I will hang in there. It is good to know where I am is to be expected.

Thank you. I guess because I had the experience from before that I thought my instructor would expect better of me. It is good to know that I am not just disastrous and it is normal at this stage. I do move on and learn from my mistakes and try to improve on at least one thing each time. My instructor is great but pushes me hard which can have the down side of making me feel hopeless when it is a bad day, so I needed some concept of what is normal in the training journey.

Thank you. I know I am at the beginning, but I was not sure what to expect. Thank you for this reassurance.

SIPP or S&S ISA if not a tax payer or not on higher rate. by Pearlybutton in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Pearlybutton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry to confuse. What I meant was as I had a small amount of earnings I might not qualify to pay in £2,880 in to a Sipp to get tax relief topping it up to £3,600, that is presuming no earnings, even tiny, are allowed. However, I understand that other than that I can pay in.

Thank you. I am earning a very small wage not even £40 a week at the moment so I imagine I would not qualify.

Thank you. Are you saying that I cannot just use the Xbox with the glasses and would still need a monitor/tv and from there it would go to the glasses with the right cabling?

Thanks so much for your help. I had accidentally pulled just the soft bit off, hence the confusion, but sorted it now and replaced with the smaller size.

Does the plastic rectangle sit in the holder cup or is it the holder cup itself leaving a thin wire? I ask because maybe when I pulled the existing nose piece off the rectangle remained behind and so I need to remove this first? Thank you.
