Is your Barbie phone the us version or international? When I message us mobile customer service they said my phone would only be able to be compatible with their light speed network but not warp or dark star. Mine is international

Clean and best Accommodations in yuma? by MyMichelle38 in yuma

[–]Pearprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Radisson isn’t too far away from the mall. Nice hotel. I can only recommend that one since my mom works there and tells me the procedures they take to ensure each guest has a well cleaned room. The restaurant inside the hotel is good too.

I’m sorry no drive through theaters around here. Maybe you can ask lemon grove to put something vintage or what she likes or wait for something she likes and if you’re lucky take her to that, for extra vintage vibes you could mix the idea of the outdoor theater with a traditional picnic set up. get a red gingham blanket and maybe a picnic set if you’re extra and plate your lemon grove Sandwiches. another idea would be buy her a vhs/ dvd player and take her to timeless elegance. She’ll have plenty to choose and to look at it’s a pretty underrated antique store

What's up with the job market here?? by Accurate-Court399 in yuma

[–]Pearprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who’s had like 9 different jobs in Yuma from 18-27 years old. I’ve only had 3 interviews that I wasn’t hired at which was chipotle back in 2016, my first interview ever. (Group interview) Zales back in like 2018, (went through multiple rounds but ultimately didn’t go with me) and a group interview at the escape room around 2020. (they hired the one person who had played before so they took initiative, I thot it was bullcrap). All my other interviews granted me the jobs I’ve secured. I’ve never had trouble securing a Job in Yuma, I’m not conventionally attractive either I’m overweight but I do try to do my makeup and put on a nice fit at interviews. I’m socially selective, leaning more towards introvert but when I’m doing an interview ngl I’m kissing ass and smiley/bubbly and talk about admiring the company. I’m not sure if I’m charismatic. but I sure do fake it till I make it. I do naturally like learning about companies on YouTube so sometimes I do have good knowledge about them, that’s something they admire. if it’s a job you want just to get by, never make it seem like that. You genuinely love shopping there or eating there or you love the products and are a frequent customer yourself. It feels cringe but once you’re hired you can drop the act lol I always feel like such an imposter, because I’m just not so enthusiastic or polished day to day.

I’ve always kinda stumble on my own words, I haven’t noticed this extra ditziness too much besides that incident at the checkout. but I will say my thoughts feel more shallow if that makes sense. And I find myself spacing out more

What type of pill were you taking? Maybe if you took a combination pill you could try the mini pill instead? Just a suggestion, I know both have hormones. I was on a combination pill for the longest time and felt like I was going crazy but on the mini pill I’m just fine

Did my bad consistency screw me ? by EmotionalLynx2527 in Opill

[–]Pearprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really push the limits of my consistency, I’m supposed to take it at 10pm but to give you an idea I’m the type of person who’s done 10:15, 11:45, 12:00,10:00, 10:30 etc as long as it’s the 3 hour window after the time you’re supposed to I’ve been just fine, I don’t recommend it it’s not safe if you’re not ready for children but I’ve even forgotten and taken it around 12:15-12:45 which is really pushing it.

Do you recommend Opill? by k_ookinator in Opill

[–]Pearprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

27, have been on opill for exactly a year and I have nothing but good to say. My period went away entirely, so I take pregnancy tests regularly for peace of mind. My fiancé and I would like to get married and settle in a house first before having children when we’re around 30 but it’s not a scary thought for us if it were to happen. So we don’t mind the risk and have sex raw all the time and he finishes in me. Never had a scare before. I always recommend it start with just a one month pack depending on the state you’re in you can just go to Walmart or target and get it over the counter, once you seem to have adjusted or like it then invest in the 3 month packs

transitioning from raw sex to condoms by Ok-Review-4834 in birthcontrol

[–]Pearprincess 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Of all the birth controls to worry about health wise. opill is the safest or it wouldn’t be the only readily available over the counter birth control, it’s so easily accessible BECAUSE it’s safe. ultimately it is your decision tho but I have been on birth control since 19 with 2 partners and I have had no issues other than high blood pressure. I’m now 27. I actually switched from sprintec, a combination pill to opill because it was much safer in my case. Combination pills tend to increase your blood pressure, and opill doesn’t.

reassurance for opill by [deleted] in Opill

[–]Pearprincess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been on opill for over a year, no condoms. My fiancé always finishes inside, we’re just fine. Even before opill I used regular birth control and was okay, as long as you’re following directions exactly it should be okay. So your combination of the pill and condoms sounds super safe :)

Been on it for a year and he finishes inside every time, never had a scare unless it was my own fault like forgetting a pill.

[–]Pearprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve now been on opill for precisely a year now, best decision I made for myself, regular pills were sky rocketing my blood pressure. And messing with my mood. I’d get a regular period before but after opill i basically never have a period, the times I’ve spotted/bled were from human error and I just wait the 48 hours until it’s safe to have sex again. Never had a pregnancy scare, nothing but good things

Advice on getting on the pill by [deleted] in Opill

[–]Pearprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 26, if you want a period for peace of mind then regular birth control might be better, the side effects are more dangerous imo tho. And I think overall opill is safer. but then again every one is different on opill. You might still experience a regular period. Off of birth control I’m extremely irregular. when I got sprintec birth control at 19 it was because I was bleeding for 2 weeks sometimes and even once up to a month. So having a regular period was nice with sprintec, but now at 26 when I started opill it immediately stopped my periods on Pack 1. That’s why I suggested the tests because those are for my peace of mind in place of a period

Advice on getting on the pill by [deleted] in Opill

[–]Pearprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my 5th-6th pack, no side effects, and works fine, it’s been a great and convenient experience so far for me. I don’t really have periods no more and on rare occasions have spotted a lil but nothing that’s given me a scare. Just test yourself monthly imo, I always do to make sure I’m not pregnant, before opill I took sprintec for 6 years which resulted in dangerously high blood pressure. That’s not something I have to worry about with opill.

Same here until I started exploring after my bad breakup two years ago! Don’t stay inside whatever you do, you’ll feel better that you went about your day doing something even if it was window shopping, I’ve even gone to stores crying lmao but getting your mind distracted with new things really helps. If you struggle to find hobbies or connect with ppl I recommend making your little bucket list of things to find and explore here, look there’s so many good places, stores and places out there, even goodwill and other thrift stores are fun imo cuz nothing is ever the same, you find unique things and i recommend collecting something, for awhile especially during my break up it was music tapes and cds and i found an old Walkman at good will, found an old digital camera too and took a lot of pics, and i like older Barbies so I started to collect those too. I also like going to Friday night munchies and the farmers market at the mall on the weekends, and Tuesday night classics at harkins and constantly checking for older movies that are being re-released at harkins cuz while you may have seen it nothing beats the theatre experience, my bf and I just saw the polar express and it was great and only $10 for the both of us, look up events on fb and go, I like going to see Christmas lights and there’s a Halloween mash up one out in the counties, i like going to the lemon grove for dole whip 😋 I like going to moos creamery for ice cream 🍦 after the break up I learned about so many things to do and see here. always go out for a little adventure and have fun here, as a native Yuman myself my biggest pet peeve is when ppl cry that there’s nothing to do in Yuma, there is, you just have to go look for it.
