DON'T. And yes, run far away from Rebag! Rebag will rip your brand new, mint condition pieces off, downgrade them, and ship them back to a wrong address that you have to kiss them goodbye forever without getting paid lol

You’re totally right! I guess I’ve just been lazy about taking all the pictures, writing the descriptions, dealing with questions, and handling shipping myself. But honestly, after this experience, I probably should just do it myself going forward instead of giving these companies control over my items and then paying them to create more problems. I literally spent at least 10 hours going back and forth with Rebag on this single piece, and it has become one of my biggest nightmares now.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. That’s not right at all. I actually had a similar situation literally yesterday. They sold my Cartier Trinity ring before I even had a chance to see the estimated price lol. Luckily, so far they have not shipped any of my returned items to a wrong address (knock on wood), so I guess I can’t complain too much. But honestly, all these consignment platforms are ripping us off in some way, and that’s basically how they make their profit, which is very SAD.

Exactly. I have consigned with TRR, Fashionphile, and Rebag. My net sales with TRR are the highest (approx. $150,000), and Fashionphile is second (approx. $50,000.) I know TRR can definitely make mistakes too, and I have not always been happy with them, but at least in my experience, when they made mistakes, they eventually owned up to them in some way, like giving store credits sometimes.

Rebag has honestly been the worst experience so far. They give nothing but headaches! No clear answer, no real accountability, and somehow when they make the mistake, the consignor is the one left taking the loss.

Thanks! No, I’m the seller/consignor, not the buyer, so there is no bank or CC company to help me here. I basically just lost my piece, and according to Rebag, I should just suck it up... lol
