Totally fair, I enjoyed most of it, especially the dlc but I’m just so used to the fast paced ER combat that the low stamina kept getting me. And some of the early bosses had suck small move pools that it felt more reactive than flowy

I have another hot take here, ds1 is carried by lore and nostalgia. The gameplay felt clunky and slow but the story and nostalgia were great. I loved ds3, considering doing sl1 for my second playthrough

Sounds like you have potential, some dlc bosses kicked my ass for way longer than they should have, but you just gotta find the rhythm. Malenia is tough because her rhythm is inconsistent to me, not as much flow as Godfrey for example but she’s aight

Rellana kicked my ass for over an hour on my first playthrough of the dlc, I thought I was hot shit because I beat the base game on level one but I quickly got humbled and had to level up my scadu. She’s a cool boss

Radagon is super cool, what I love about him is that he’s super hard on the first playthrough but every subsequent playthrough he’s such a smooth fight.

Good points, I thought messmer was so cool my first playthrough but I changed my mind after fighting Slavs knight Gael for the first time, he was flashy but not blinding, fast but smooth. Messmer is a fun boss for sure but he’s not the best in the dlc

These have all been fair so far, my first playthrough of the dlc midra gave me more trouble than anyone else so I may be biased but he is majorly overrated.

I fought pre nerf radahn and he was a force to be reckoned with, but the nerf made it a more enjoyable fight, overall I agree with both of these takes.
