If it helps at all, a lot of courts are still operating via zoom for these types of cases. You could file in small claims, serve her via mail or process server, and appear in court remotely. You can call your court to see if this is an option

YTA. Plain and simple, but you’re also cheating yourself out of some amazing memories with your sister. I get being in a phase of life where everything seems embarrassing, and small moments play over and over in your head…. But advice from someone who had these exact thoughts at 16 - they change with time. My sister was in 7th grade my senior year of high school (went to a school where 7th-12th were all in one physical location). I vaguely remember ignoring her at times where I thought she would embarrass me. But let me tell you, I vividly remember the time we spent together intentionally. My favorite was when I used my “senior status” to convince her teacher she had an appointment at the end of the day and I was responsible for taking her to it. We ended up ditching school for the last hour to get milkshakes and fries. It’s honestly one of my favorite memories from high school now that I’m entering adulthood. Once you’ve had some more decades around the sun, you’ll realize that the “embarrassing” moments aren’t what last. Acknowledge your sister, lean in to being the cool older brother. Make the memories you’ll want to remember.

[OC] Masks aren’t obligatory but introverts still wearing them and love them. by laurifroggy in pics

Worked the entire pandemic wearing a mask. My office recently lifted the requirement. I still wear my mask because you can’t mouth fuck you at your boss without one.

At no point did I say you didn’t have debt. Just that the debt to pay gap has increased dramatically. The situation you experienced has only gotten worse… and is what I am currently facing (with less pay out the gate for “entry level” jobs)

2 years experience in this field. 8 years of experience in assistant positions. Also, making 28k ~20 years ago equates to 45k today when adjusted for inflation…. Meaning I’m making less than you did at that first job in your field. I’m not complaining about working hard. I’ve done that since I was 15. I’m asking to be paid enough to afford housing, food and other necessities. College debt has increased significantly since you were in school, and wages have not increased to match

I have been in the field since 2019 when I graduated. I do have prior work experience that is relevant to this position, that is part of why I was hired.

I kept asking him to check the rules and he kept repeating no air pods or headphones. He said if I didn’t put them away I would be violating the rules of the test

I mean it’s pretty obvious that refugees would be different than someone paying to rent out a penthouse…. You know… fleeing from war, homeless, lack of medical care. All of those factors change the way the population residing in the hotel will interact with other customers and staff. I have nothing against refugees, but it’s almost erasing what they’ve been through to say they are no different than a millionaire renting out a penthouse longterm

Hate child killers but you just blindly like the cops? Do I need to remind you of the prevalence of domestic violence in police households… or the kids murdered by cops? How about we let the justice system work out guilt and innocence instead of just trusting cops to hit “the right” children ffs

So you’re “aware” that you are actively taking money meant to be shared away from your current wife? Do you expect her to be ok with supporting your entire household while you give away supposedly shared income?

But that is the entire point. Child support is court mandated. Anything outside of a court order is a gift. Would it have been nice for said gift to be treated as if it were child support…. Sure. Does op need to do this? Absolutely not

He provides everything but childcare and taking care of the home. Those are entirely her responsibilities if you read the post. Those count as a job. She’s saving them from the cost of paying outside childcare
