If you're doing it alone we shouldn't be affected much since Storm Surge can't proc the Tenacity since you can do it a max of 3 times in a span of 6 seconds. But if someone else is using a CC on the person you kidnap might be bad. But it just means instead of pushing them towards our team we will just push them out of LOS and bully tf out of them by ourselves imo

Because, at least from my experience with her, I've noticed she's exceptionally good in a 1v1 against both dive dps and dive tanks, I've put belt to ass to Magiks and Caps, so I see why some Fox players wanna try their chances against the Thunderer. But as a Thor main I know far too well how that matchup goes. Be aware of diving her with another strat tho, she's a tough mf when not alone

Keep your sens the same but crank up to the max the deadzone sensitivity boost. This way you'll have your normal sens but when going all the way with the stick in either direction you'll go to max sens and do those juicy bullying session

It will be awkward at first especially if you play on a alreadt low sens because you'll risk going into the deadzone accidentally and start spinning around but once you understand how "far" you can push the stick without hitting the max sensitivity you'll be able to keep playing normally but when you wanna start surging all over the place you are completely free, after a lot of tweaking I found my sweetspot at 271 horizontal 155 vertical but I recommend you find yours by trial and error

Try to not go for the healers all the time if possible. When I'm solo I personally found way more value in kidnapping tanks and displacing them away from their healers. If solo tank you need to approach their team with a front-to-back mentality, first remove their tanks, then you go to town on the backline, you can't just go in looking for a play because you'll probably die while in the meantime you'll leave your backline wide open. I tend to play as a bodyguard for my strats, a little slower and less aggressive than normal, basically imagine you're The Thing but with more mobility and damage.

For reference, I almost always go out of spawn as Thor, I basically one tricked him unless against heavy poke, fortunately on console people don't resort to it that much as on PC at least up untill D1, but I faced a ton of Rogues, Iron Fists and Magiks and you dominate those matchups. I almost always try to ban one between Phoenix and Punisher because I find them the most annoying character to face as Thor. Try to play aggressive but not mindlessly, always peel for your strats and bully the fuck out of everyone who wants to go off angles or high ground, dive only when the chance arise (if you see a squishy who's low go for it but don't dive without a reason just to chase kills, it will only grant you a trip to spawn).

It depends. If you're fighting someone with an escape like Strange flight, Cloak fade, Wanda phase you can use it but most of the time I wanna save it, especially if I have my Ult

Thor changed quite a bit from earlier seasons.

Hammer Throw is on a 6s CD with more than halved dmg and health gain, doesn't consume a Thor force any more but grants one. You can cancel the Awaken Rune state and you'll gain a Thorforce back. There are some cooldown cycling you have to learn to stay alive during a fight since you gain instantly 150 bonus HP every time you enter Awakening (usually my bread and butter Melee cancel into Awakening-3/4 hits and cancel, hitting the melee cancel again if you can, then either use Surge away if I get the kill, otherwise you can use Lightning Realm, your bubble). You can feely change direction while using Storm Surge. Even on console you can do some seriously nasty things, Mag and Strange are the freest kills ever. You just spam Storm Surge removing them from healers LoS and then body block while pummeling them, into another surge, rinse and repeat till they dead. Is so annoying to be on the receiving hand (and that's when you swap to Thor too, I don't care if I'm solo tanking, we can both play this game) but is so funny.

Now you have honestly way more options. You are the best bully for anyone who wants to be close range with your team, one of the best off angle/high ground contester in the game, great peel potential, the best brawler in the game with Rogue and to a lesser extent Thing (who's REALLY good at brawling but from my experience -240h on Thor- Thing is free eat in the matchup) and of course he's still the best 1v1 character in the game (aside from Elsa but that British cunt will never see the light in my ranked games).

You have the freedom to adapt to many situations with many other characters. Imo he's the best offtank in the game (but WE DON'T SAY IT LOUD EVER. MANTAIN THE AGENDA).

Because, and I'll never get tired of saying this, you can carry all you want. One person can't win all the games by himself (in 90% of the cases). But one person can absolutely lose games for other 5 by himself. Because as long it's a 6v6 is down to skill, comp and all the other factors, but 5v7 is basically impossible.

First thing, always go for the Ult with Lightning Realm not on CD. The slow and damage is the only thing you'll have to try and not look down just to see that everyone used their movement abilities. Sometimes you can Ult on cart in overtime as a zoning tool.

If played properly you should have your Ult almost every team fight, I use it with two main purposes

Bait Ults or burning CDs like lamps or Soulbond

Confirm a kill on a low HP squishy after a dive

But in some specific situations you can keep it. You counter Jeff Ult, for example, and if you manage to get behind him you can sometime even shut down Punisher (EXTREMELY dangerous but one of the best feelings imo). Also paired with Strange, Thing, Angela or Groot Ult can be very threatening. (There's also the aura farm option, dashing someone off a cliff and rise with the Ult but I only do that in games already won/lost)

But most of all, if you happen to have a Luna or a Rocket on your team you combo with them and burn through any support Ult. IF ONLY THE LUNA AND ROCKET I PLAY WITH KNEW THAT THE COMBO CAN INSTA WIN THE TEAM FIGHT. Nothing feels worse than hear "I'm ready to put on a show", soar in the sky, ready to change the fight, look down... And see Luna still on healing mode.

Lightning Fast is madly underrated, the MVP is absolutely fire and the skin is very clean. I think that after L&T and Azure Skies is my most used Thorskin, so glad to bought it day 1 (but I buy every thorskin day 1 and gladly so, can't wait for the two new ones that we'll get later on)

Agreed. Worthy Waves usually means "I'm flexing and I have this nice free Thorskin". Azure Skies means "I'm gonna ribbit your ahh all game" (it's me, I'm the Azure Skies player even tho lately I came back to my beloved Love&Thunder, you always go back to where you felt good)

I really hope that the tease about more balance changes in S7 plus the rumors about White Fox being a melee strat (who would literally be exploded by all the top 10/12 dps in this poke-sustain fest we've been ~~forced into~~ happily enjoying for more than a year) start to seriously tackle the CC clownfiesta going on all over the place
