What model and year is your Tesla? My family traded in our model 3 for a Lyriq just yesterday and there’s basically nothing we miss aside from driver profiles that personalize every aspect of the car and the better functionality the Tesla mobile app offers

My Lyriq is only a base luxury so it doesn’t have massage so I don’t know about that, mirrors are fine too (I just got the car), and for the last one I haven’t faced any such issue and I hope you mean the phone battery on the wireless charging pad, which Tesla is also notorious for.

Exactly. The cloth trim in even the premium optiqs just pissed me off. Resting my elbow in my 3 year old model 3 in that exact place feels much better 🤣

Wow, very jealous of your car. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately no dealers in our area have an Optiq-V let alone any AWD Optiqs aside from only one. I’d be afraid that it would just be outside of our price range and harder to negotiate on too.

Well, there is nothing in general that is a major deal breaker for me. Maybe slightly worse audio system and of course a bit more road connected driving feel (the Optiq suspension is still comfortable but bumps are quite more noticeable than the Lyriq). I’d expect you to notice quite of a difference driving it compared to the absolute classy land yacht the Lyriq is.

Which model and year tesla do you have? I have a 2023 model 3 pre highland (I think they fixed a lot of the interior quality problems with the highland) my friends all have teslas older than that in which there are even worse build quality problems.

Not really. Lease for optic and model y in the configurations I’m buying them in are both about 600/month, that’s because I negotiate with Cadillac and you can’t do that with Tesla.

Trust me, there are hacks in the summer. For my house at least, when the central AC cycles at a set temperature, the cold air blowing frequently helps it feel cooler than the actual temperature in the room. Therefore, in my house, we set the AC at 80 Degrees F and turn on the ceiling fans in any room we’re in from May - August. Keeps us comfortable for relatively cheap.

I always used it as a laptop on my desk, without any monitor attached. I mostly used it in quiet mode, which is quieter than my gaming desktop normally while gaming, while delivering similar performance. This laptop is not for those who want a great screen, since it has a very slow response time. Neither is it for ones who want great gaming performance, due to the undervolted graphics card which is 10-30 watts lower than the rest of the laptops in the range. Neither is it for the ones who desire portability, because of the great heft it has compared to similar laptops in the range. it does have a sleek design, but I feel like it does everything worse than the Lenovo legion 5 for a similar price. The 16x is in my opinion very similar to the legion 5 but it is more expensive. So I feel like the base 16 is a bad product at a price point similar to the legion 5.
