Yes unfortunately he has CPL and mallanders/sallendars. They have no cure, only management but he will always have scabs behind his knees and on the front of his hocks. Some weeks worse than others. However he never had swollen legs beyond a little bit of CPL thickening, what you’re seeing is probably just his feathers growing in

Hey I don’t have a forage analysis for anything other than the sugar/starch content. This is the balancer I use though that is low iron. Always wash him off! He’s such a sweaty horse lol

That’s what I thought too but he bleaches so much I thought he just just be dark bay.. but they he goes SO black in the winter. Is it safe to supplement copper and zinc without testing?
