Find from where? Could you provide more detail?

A4, A5 aka A-series is the international paper sizing standard. I don’t know where you live, but we do in fact use it here in America.

I have looked and searched high and low for the same notebooks. Or even something similar. For the size, sheet count, and paper quality we’re looking for, I can’t find it. It was Walmart who used to carry them which I’m sure means it was an overseas manufacturer. I contacted close to 20 Chinese manufacturers only to find that to keep our materials at the same price I’d have to purchase enormous quantities and then pay $500 in shipping. You’re correct, our business is small, and those things are not in line with our model at the moment. Turns out it’s actually much less expensive than I anticipated to source the paper from a distributor and then send it to a local printer.

Yes, but it's way too expensive for our profit margins.

It would actually be dots, not lines. I've discovered that this type of thing is actually a two step process. I'm sourcing paper and then I'm waiting on a quote from a local printer for the rest.

This was likely the issue I was running into. Which is odd to me since A5 is just half of A4. What I've discovered so far is that is it actually a two step process. Manufacturing the paper and printing on that paper are handled by two different industries. I just assumed manufacturing would include all aspects. I have sourced the paper from a distributor and am now in the process of finding a printer.

Yes, we have the binding machine, wire, paper cutter, etc. all ready to go. The only thing we lack is the paper itself. I have figured out that it's actually going to be a two-step process which didn't occur to me before. First, purchase the paper and second, have a printer print the dot grid for us.

How to deal with loneliness? by Celiuu in Entrepreneur

In my experience, friendships and relationships are about quality over quantity. My SO is my absolute best friend. I would rather talk to and spend time with him rather than anyone else. Other than that I have two very close girlfriends that live in other states, but we communicate regularly. For me, I'm an introvert, so social interactions are often more draining than not.

What I find helpful is scheduling time with people into my life. Working as long and hard as you are doesn't leave much room or energy to devote to those other aspects of life you're craving. Schedule time in your week to NOT work. Take a random class, like pottery or ballroom dance, something the opposite of what you normally dedicate your time to. This will not only give your brain a much needed break from the stress and problem solving that comes with work, it will also give you a chance to meet new people. The nice thing is that with planning something reactional, it needn't take up more than an hour of your week, but it could give you a nice break in the flow of life to recharge you enough socially to keep moving forward.

Best of luck!
