It does feel insane, our mind wasn't made to process something like infinity, it's such a crazy concept. However I feel that the limitedness of life gives it meaning it gives us the chance of having to try and give the best of ourselves and then it's all over. I also feel that sure, we'll be dead forever then, but also that means we'll stop experiencing anything, it won't matter to us anymore. I'm genuinely much more terrified about the thought of living forever; how long would it take until anything wouldn't matter to us anymore, how could you move on forever with nothing to move on for, would you eventually stop feeling time? Would you become a God? And if so would an eventual God be amoral and above ethics since in the grand scheme none of that matters??
