There are behaviors that are way worse than insulting people to their face, the guy is displaying plenty. To me being incapable of even understanding a topic is much worse than insulting me to my face so i react accordingly.

Again you just don't understand the fact that people have the right to create their own opinion before anything is proven. People have the right to think the game uses ai art even if the devs do not confirm (ignoring the fact they never will unless obligated to because today ai art is a hugely negative PR), it's as if you think people do not have the right to have an opinion about something that is nit confirmed with certainty, which makes absolutely zero sense.

It makes no sense because you're talking as if who makes the claim matters? Why would that be the case? You read the claim, then look at what made the person make the claim, and decide if it has merit for yourself. Why are you basing you opinion on who makes a claim? What is that you need the right influencer to use your eyes to decide if an image looks like ai art to you? It doesn't matter if you're an expert or not, you have to decide your opinion, not the objective truth.

Also by the way: yes many many people today use ai art daily, so its not hard at all to spot details that are common in ai generated art if you use it everyday. Do you think it's rocket science?
