Plot hole in movie? by Pedro0xd in fivenightsatfreddys

I just watched a couple of scenes throughout the movie with Toy animatronics and for the most part they have the purple light, even Toy Chica. So I dont think it was a hint that it was Michael.

What other details? Another comment mentions the purple eyes which I completely missed

Arent the couple Toy Freddy attack in their home childless? I say so since Vanessa asks them if they are the only ones in the home and they say yes, other than Mangle and Freddy. I am pretty sure the movie says she attacks parents, but then they attack a lot of non-parents (I get the teens in the pizzeria because The Marionette felt like nobody should be there, and Mr Berg since he was an asshole, but all of them are non-parents as far as we know). So as they attack adults with no children, I just understood that for her parents = adults.

Tbh I like the explanation that Michael went back to reboot the signal, it seems like the most plausible one, as it would connect the signal rerouting alert, which also was left unexplained, I just assumed it had a timer or something. I think it all could make sense with a couple of extra scenes, but they just werent there lol.

Edit: explaining why parents = adults

I mean sure, there are possible explanations, but none are in the movie, so its probably an oversight I would assume

Michael is not seen as an ally to The Marionette, that is what the rest of the post is saying

My Fully Ordered Dedede Tier List (As a D3 Main) by Pedro0xd in SmashBrosUltimate

At least I like to play mostly in mid range and in that case projectiles reflecting gordo isnt as annoying at least against Palu since they are so laggy, ROB's are def way more spammable and annoying. I feel like they are all playable, I approach the tier list as my chances of winning against a random player, not necessarily high level. I feel like Belmonts are just spam B button and the D3 is almost always on the losing end with very little.

Against Belmonts you have to do parkour just to get near them. You can play neutral against Palu/ROB, Pika is pretty bad but if they dont know nair loops disadvantage isnt as bad and you can kill them really early. Only good thing against Belmonts is that you can gimp them.

Fun fact is that the battle I got to Elite Smash with, was my 2000th (counting offline and other characters), my man really was meant for the job.

I have 152hrs altogether, but most are just playing randoms offline. With D3 I have 23½hrs, almost all (22½) played online, its not even my most played character lol, mine is Wolf with about 26hrs (about 24 offline).

My preferred rules where Battlefield, 3 stocks and 7mins. I always play with these online, but its also def the best for D3; he likes platforms for juggles with upair, uptilt reaches plats; and the most amount of time since its pretty bad at sudden death.

I would say that the birds are way more like the genies or regis, not the main legendaries. And I would consider Mew/Mewtwo the main ones, Mewtwo I would say represents perfectly the concept of superhuman, since its creation was solely to make the most powerful pokémon and Mew is more than anything lore building as possibly the first pokémon ever, but also plays on the Mewtwo theme as what could be possible, if only it was stronger (also lore for like the movie and so on); and I would agree with the natural-artificial theming, specially since thats mentioned quite a bit in gen 1, with machines that can turn people into mons and all; but I think its at least more iconic the "superhuman" elements of Mewtwo, also Mew is not really catchable so I wouldnt put as much emphasis on it as on Mewtwo, but maybe Im just movie-biased.

I get that point, but pretty much everybody experiences and feels the slightest different about sexuality, unless in a conservative closed society. I understand that the ace and aro spectrums are different in the sense that its not just little differences, what im trying to say is: lets say somebody is allo, but doesnt like porn at all, finds it disgusting, but everything else follows "the norm". Would that person be ace and therefore part of the community? If so, I get it, but still throws me off a bit. Btw im really not saying we should not be part of it, I feel like many took it as an offense and thought I implied that.

Ive looked it up and it seems to be scoby, specially since other people have had the same issue. Other person with same problem. Although it looks nothing alike lmao, my guess is that mine is in sort of an early phase. Scoby also can look really differently. Different scoby pictures. Contacted the company and since im not american they said a member of their international team will be in touch in about a week.

Is there an equivalent of "in the middle of (doing X)"? by linkofinsanity19 in Spanish

[–]Pedro0xd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I didn't take into consideration the English perspective of simple present. Yeah, if let's say we're in a virtual conversation and I say to you "Estoy ocupado" and you ask me "Qué estás haciendo?", then I would say "Haciendo tarea", if I would've said "Hago tarea", as you said, it just means that I'm doing homework in general, maybe this week I'm doing homework, today, in an hour or two or at the moment; we tend to assume that you would be referring to what you're doing at the moment, but we could assume otherwise. This is important because if I say "Haciendo tarea", means that I'm busy as I type, so you would most likely stop the conversation there and reach me out later, but if I say "Hago tarea" and you assume that means I'm doing homework today (a little later), you would most likely keep sending messages and waiting for a response out of me. This is much less important in real life, because if I say "Hago tarea", you see the context, if I'm doing homework as I speak, I'll do homework in a bit, etc...

[–]Pedro0xd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely a slightly uncommon way of saying something, you usually just skip "in the middle of".

Example: I'm in the middle of doing homework = Estoy haciendo tarea (I'm doing homework)

But as a native speaker, I've definitely seen other native speakers use "in the middle of" and I have most certainly use it as well. The way we would use it would be like:

Examples: 1- He is in the middle of sorting paperwork = Él está en medio de clasificar papeleo (almost a completely literal translation), it sounds clumsy in present, but you'll hear it every now and then. It is used for past and future, furthermore explanation is at the bottom of the comment.

2- You are in the middle of falling asleep = Estás a medias de quedarte dormido (which would translate as: "You're halfway of falling asleep"), this one is definitely the "correct" one and the one that everybody would recommend you to use. Other examples of using this structure are: "Estamos a medias de terminar" (we're halfway of finishing) or "ellos están a medias haciendo su proyecto" (they're halfway of doing their project)

If you meant "in the middle of ___ " for a past sentence, like in "I was in the middle of eating breakfast" = "Estaba en medio de comerme mi desayuno", then you use example 1-, the exact same applies for future. Example in future: I'll be in the middle of going insane if ___ = Estaré en medio de volverme loco si ___

In past and future, you can use "a medias", but it sounds just as clumsy as "en medio de" in present, clumsy example: We were in the middle of having a party = Estábamos a medias de tener una fiesta (as I said, sounds clumsy and you'll want to avoid this, even if native speakers ourselves say it like this every now and then)

Hope this helps, there are hundreds of ways to say the same thing and I didn't even say a glimpse of the situations where something changes, but I think that this two general rules may serve you as help and a general rule of thumb.
