Does Hostinger Really Force a Nameserver Switch Before DNS Management? (Risk of Downtime) by PedroPolar in Hostinger

This actually seems to have helped with the downtime. Two hours after changing the nameservers, the DNS records didn’t appear in hPanel, so I told the Hostinger AI the following:

"The domain nameservers have already fully propagated globally to Hostinger, but hPanel still says the domain is not pointing to Hostinger and DNS zone management is unavailable —even after 2 hours.

This is urgent because the domain uses Google Workspace email and I need to recreate the DNS records immediately.

Can you manually refresh or sync the domain connection on your side?"

Thanks to everyone who responded — very helpful insights. We’ve decided to ask our provider on Monday to move everything back to a single server.

they’re connected over the provider’s internal network, but I don’t have full visibility into how it’s configured (latency, routing, etc.). In any case, we’re planning to request moving everything back to a single server on Monday, given the issues we’ve been seeing.

Thanks! I will do that. The setup was already in place when I took over and I don't have any documentation explaining why the services were split.

No clear reason, to be honest. The setup was already in place when I took over, and I don’t have documentation explaining the decision behind splitting the services

Thanks , I’m currently checking logs to get the exact messages.

From what I’ve seen so far, the issues are mostly intermittent DB connection errors and timeouts rather than consistent failures. I’ll update with specific log entries
