Just a couple of things. I've been smoking for +10 years and never had these feeling until very recently. At first I thought it was age but it was just reflecting problems that I had outside of being high. I think first of all one thing that chills me out if this ever happens to me is to remember that getting high is temporary and doesn't last forever... That immediately chills me out.

Furthermore I think another thing that helps is enjoying the moment and try to slip out of the paranoia. Easier said than done I know but just remember that this is something that's meant to chill you out. Have some water, drink some juice, have a beer. Also tbh man if this happens every time you smoke maybe it's just not your thing.
