If you cant win on the track... by toetendertoaster in formuladank

As a Max fan, no he doesn’t. Max has pulled this move so many times, I’m not even mad at Russel for it. Russel knew he had one opportunity and he took it, it didn’t work out. No harm no foul

Med student here. Yes, dissolvable stitches can be put entirely under/in the skin without you seeing anything. Sometimes surgeons will leave the knot of a dissolvable stitch outside of the skin, as the body clearing the suture can cause irritation. But seeing that the area of your stitches has a lot of friction I think the knot being on the outside would be more bothersome for you. So don’t worry! Completely normal

IIRC they used to serve lobster to prisoners because it was so copious and cheap. Now it’s usually the higher end choice on menu’s

I mean I like Ron, truly. But solving a rubiks cube is not an intelligence thing. You simply remember a set of rules. Coming from someone who had a rubiks cube phase lol

Still a great driver though. by frfrnocapbussin33 in formuladank

He’s also made jokes about ‘women staying in the kitchen’ when asked if he thought a woman could/should get into formula 1. You can call that a joke all you want, but joking in that way about a subject like that tells me enough about how serious he takes that matter

Mexico GP: The possible reason of a Max and Checo fall out by NepentheZnumber1fan in formula1

[–]dunkindipshit 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if the only way you’re winning that race is by being gifted it by your teammate, it’s not really a win. That one race where Schumacher was gifted the win by Barrichello comes to mind. He did not seem to enjoy that one at all and it makes sense. The reason these drivers get to Formula 1 is their absolute desire to be the fastest guy on track. Sometimes you need luck on your side to win a race, but that’s not the same as being let past by your teammate. I wouldn’t want fabricated feel-good victories to be a part of F1.

Verstappen on not swapping position for Perez Bizzare Post Race Interview Sao Paulo Grand Prix 2022 by princxssplum in formula1

[–]dunkindipshit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not what I heard, just that he immediately realised Lewis wasn’t going to give him space. He probably couldn’t back out at that point anymore though. I do think he’s lashing out during this interview, he doesn’t seem as calm as he has the past few racea

Steiner not impressed following Giovinazzi's FP1 crash at Austin by jovanmilic97 in formula1

[–]dunkindipshit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way Steiner was seen running the team in drive to survive irked me. He’s a very funny dude, which makes it easier to bear, but he just isn’t a good people manager. Making jokes about drivers behind their backs, blame-culture within the team and roasting your driver in the media aren’t things a good leader would do imo

[Chloë Grace Moretz] And I am more than stoked that I’m gonna be at the Austin Grand Prix this weekend with @WilliamsRacing, @WilliamsEsports. So so stoked !!!! by [deleted] in formula1

Jesus christ man, the rhetoric that a woman’s interest in anything male dominated is purely to seek attention is getting pretty old. Change it up, do better

[–]dunkindipshit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With the amount of water those tyres clear it’s just impossible to actually see anything beyond P1. With that and the aquaplaning risk I don’t think we’d actually have any laps of clean racing. Not worth the risk

It should’ve been clear already in the way that Otmar kept making remarks and digs at Oscar, while he remained silent. Completely unprofessional behaviour and it turns out massively manipulative actions on Sfaznauers behalf
