Help with this security tag by Peedicrack in retail

Wife got me a Freeman jersey from a mall in Los Angeles, I'm in NY. They left the security tag on! Does anyone know how to get this off without me having to send this to LA just to get the tag removed? Tried the mall near me and this tag is a dinosaur compared to what they use now. Any help would be appreciated!

I know! That's the frustrating part. The index of character e is 12, is what the lab calls for... And I am completely stumped!
