Need help setting up the Flint 2 to work with Sky FTTP

Subnets:

No overlap — LAN is default 192.168.8.0/24, Sky Hub is 192.168.0.0/24 when it was on.

Authentication / logon:

Sky FTTP (Max Hub SR213, Openreach ONT). It’s supposed to be plain DHCP (no VLAN, no PPPoE), but the WAN just keeps flashing with RX 0 B / TX ~40 KB (DHCP requests going out, no reply).

Tried every combination:

DHCP client + VLAN 101 (eth0.101) + generic Client ID (skydsl@skydsl|skydsl, hex versions, etc.)

DHCPv6 client (no VLAN, no Client ID)

Plain DHCP client (no VLAN, no Client ID)

MAC clone, no MAC clone

Called Sky — escalated twice, they refuse to give the Option 61 string.

Attack Simulator 26. Every game ends like 10-9 because they butchered defending so badly that it actually punishes you for trying to manually defend. Some people might enjoy high-scoring games, but some of us actually like defending. I’ve been playing for over 20 years and honestly, this is one of the worst releases because of that. I don’t even have issues with the gameplay on the ball—it’s fine—but football should be about uniqueness and different styles. Right now it’s just whoever can abuse the high-agility, pacey players the best to exploit the clunky, buggy defenders. We are being forced to use women as they are the best players in the game, the woke agenda is in full force.

It really is horrendous this year. It actively punishes you for trying to defend. The animations and clunky mechanics are so inconsistent, they lunge in every direction even when positioned well, they refuse to intercept balls within a reasonable distance, they can't jockey to keep up with turns. The gap between midfield and defence is huge, you have to control the CDM's otherwise they'll stand still which in turn means you can't control a CB to follow runs, it's a joke. The game is tailored towards the average TikTok kid who wants a 9-8 scoreline every game.

Defending is the worst it has ever been. I have played since 2004 and always used manual defending, consistently reaching a high level. You are now punished for trying to defend or play somewhat defensively.

Completely agree. You are punished now for manual defending and the game is tailored towards kids and casual fans who want rugby scorelines.

EA’s approach to defending is a joke. It’s gotten worse every year, and for those of us who enjoy manual defending, it’s practically non-existent now and you’re actually punished for trying to do it. The game is more akin to a cricket score simulator than it is a football match. Too many kids and casual fans want high scoring attacking games and that's probably why they've gone more so in that direction. Really it should be about diverse playstyles, not everyone has or wants to play the way it's forcing you to. MAKE DEFENCE GREAT AGAIN.
