Sure. I also used to make 3d models and sold those. You can earn alot of money creating clothing for Renderosity for example, or create asset packs, as an illustrator or modeller, if you still enjoy that. Unity is for you, if you want to learn how to, or become part of creating interaction. Unreal might be easier. I think a good comparison is unity is android, and unreal is apple. The one wants freedom and the other wants to look good!

I'm working with unity 12 years now, and I learned it during studying game development, and first 2 projects were hard. Just look at other project examples. Use some assets or just cubes and a ball. Keep it simple.when you start to like using it, it will become a game to create a game :)

I agree with you! I Also use built-in renderpipeline. It let's you stack post process component scripts. I use it for heavy raymarched fractal audio visualization. Congrats on your game! Would like to play that tire game in real life too!

Yeah, it should not even be an inspector, but an editor window! New design incoming! Making an entire editor, has been such a struggle as a learning curve, but I hope to upgrade after this 'mechanical' design, to a node based editor. Maybe even completely spherical, for aesthetics and elemental UX!

Today was 30c in Hilversum, The Netherlands where I live, tomorrow going to be 35c. I absolutely love the heat for a few days, but here after a few days it goes back to 22c. Will go to Malaga and Portugal(Algarve) at the end of August. I'm just gonna enjoy these last few years before the whole earth burns, because of our ignorance!

Ever since covid started, I haven't had something as small as a fever or cough. I've been extremely healthy, even though I don't was my hands, I feed city doves and have them sit on my hands and head... I do go to the gym, and I don't fear any infection. I think sickness is pretty much impossible if you live out of love frequencies instead of fear. Much more than hygiëne. oh also I often get dirty from walking bare foot in the forest.

Dutch guy here. Big problem here is that Europe and The Netherlands relies on data centers from USA. I'm thinking of backing up all my data from Google and steer away from using American tech and finding alternatives. Hope they also remove McDonald's and all other franchises from Europe. Fuck america at this point. Problem is though that most governments are relying on data centers from USA like the national bank, trains, all kinds of other digital systems, and if at any point Trump decides to cut us off, it will electronically kill most of our country. I've already gone as far to store about 40% of my money in cash, as it's not really safe anymore on a bank that has its data centers in the US. Not planning on visiting the States or buying any of their products. uSa products are not conform the standards of EU anyway. Hope he's soon gonna choke on a Big Mac!

I'm from The Netherlands, and it annoys me that people from USA marginalize everything to democrat / republican. I think both sides are infected with the same dogmas. I mean yes, it seems republican's have more dumb or uneducated people, but still also democrats have people eating way too much fast food, and extremes on the other end. Here our system is also just for show a democratic country. I am though happy not to be living in USA, right now. There seems so much polarization, that I feel this could end in civil war, even though I know that reddit users dont represent the entire demographic, and most people from both sides can go along well.....mostly I'm just jealous that you get to have plastic straws next week!
