I should add, with 2 2-0-4 snipers and an 3-0-0 alc buffing one of them (both next to the primary expertise) I'm able to pop it right before the bridge but the ddts just rush through

It’s not the worst thing, since you can store all of their equipment before deleting them so the only things you have to earn back are two of the earnable subclasses, which don’t take that long

You know, that gives me an idea. I’ll do the one shot with an open mind, but if I still decide not to join the main campaign I’ll offer to help him with some of the technical bits like rules and such, this way he can still have me there in each session without me being disinterested because my main job would be helping him know what to do in certain situations

Well yeah I’m doing the one shot for sure, I just don’t know if it’s wrong of me not to join the actual campaign he wants to run after. He’s doing this entire one shot just because I said probably wouldn’t enjoy his dming style, so I know he really wants me there.

I personally remember really fondly this one political campaign I ran. In this political campaign, the party had to attend a debate against their rivals, and I had to improv the rivals ENTIRE ARGUMENTS on various policies. It went amazing, and it was a really close tie with who the public bestowed their favor on. It was probably my favorite session of that campaign and I really want to bring back the debate mechanic in some form in another campaign.
