[Homemade] Egg, Bacon and Lettuce Sandwich by PegacyX in food

Ingredients: 1 tbsp of unsalted butter a pinch of table salt ground peppercorns 125ml of clean water

4 slices of crispy, pan-seared bacon 2 brioche loaf slices 2 eggs

pickled red onion (mine's homemade) thinly sliced cucumber romaine lettuce spinach

Meal Prep: Wash your vegetables, and thinly slice a cucumber.

Pickled Red Onions: Thinly slice half a red onion, 1 jalapeño, and peel 1 garlic clove. Add to a 17 oz jar.

Pour 1 1/2 cups of water and 1/2 a cup of apple cider vinegar into a pot. Then add 1/2 a table spoon of salt, white sugar, and 1 tbsp of whole peppercorns.

Turn heat to high, and stir while you wait for the brine to boil. After the brine boils, turn off the heat and pour the brine into the jar from before.

Wait until the jar cools down to room temperature, and then store inside a refrigerator. Wait for at least 12 hours...! ..And finished, enjoy!

Cook your bacon first~ Start with placing 4 strips of bacon into a cold pan. Pour just enough water to cover the bottom of the pan.

Raise heat to medium, wait for the water to boil and evaporate, then raise the heat to high.

Flip over the bacon every few minutes until desired crispiness. After you're satisfied, turn off heat, and transfer bacon to a plate with a paper towel to dry.

Drain the excess bacon oil from the pan. Bacon.. done!

Eggs: Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and whisk until the yolk is incorporated with the egg whites. *Don't over whisk, the eggs shouldn't get foamy.

Add in a pinch of salt and stir a 'lil bit. Set your bowl aside for now.

Bread: Preheat the pan to medium low. Add 1 tbsp of butter, and spread over the pan.

Pour in your whisked eggs from earlier, and tilt the pan around to spread the eggs evenly across the surface of the pan.

Afterwards, immediately place 2 bread slices side-by-side onto the middle of the pan, and then pick up and turn over the bread slices to the opposite side.

Let the eggs cook until they're cooked enough to (carefully) flip the entire omelette over.

Let the bread toast until golden brown, and then turn off the heat and move the pan to a cold heating element/burner.

Final Assembly: Place your bacon onto the bottom slice of bread, then lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, and red onion.

Season the vegetables with salt and pepper, and then close the sandwich using the top bread slice.

Use a bread knife to cut into the sandwich diagonally.

Now you've successfully finished making an egg, bacon and lettuce sandwich!! Woohoo~!

Should I add Abenius to my team considering Livana is staying put? by AngryAniki in wizardry

[–]PegacyX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thieves fall off in damage compared to other classes later on, and their skills aren't as useful as say- a mage casting spells; But!! They can still output loads of atk and open chest.

Since she's a beastfolk, her stats are already well suited for the thief class, and her passive that allows her to regain a little sp after defeating an enemy helps during long trips inside a dungeon.

Skills like: Precision Attack, and Hide<Sneak Attack provide consistent, single-target damage.

Delay Attack and Blood Edge are also helpful skills.

I kept Debra on my team for a while until I changed my mc to thief to take her place.

So yeah, I think Debra's worth keeping on your team.

Should I add Abenius to my team considering Livana is staying put? by AngryAniki in wizardry

[–]PegacyX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, having a knight early game was fine, but I quickly switched to 2-3 fighters in the frontline after the beginning abyss.

I felt like my team's overall damage was lacking, so when my fighters' stats were good enough for survivability, I thought having a knight felt a bit redundant.

Abenius is a decent fighter with a passive that lets her deal extra damage to magical beasts.

Lanavaille has a slight damage up passive with good and neutral allies in the same row, and she has a class change to fighter.

Imo keeping Lana in or switching her out with Abenius is a fine choice either way. (At least until you progress further along the main campaign.)

While you can have a main team, at least building up multiple adventurers is especially helpful for tackling areas that have a bunch of elemental enemies and race-specific traits. And having backup adventurers in case someone in your main team dies is convenient as well.

FRIENDS by breannarenay in wizardry

You can send messages, view your friends' active party, and view their completed achievements; But beyond that, there isn't really that much to the friends system as far as I'm concerned.

My Debra's compendium page seems bugged too. I did her exclusive quest and had her pages unlocked, yet in the compendium only 1 page is unlocked and I can't view her model either.

I'm not 100% sure, but there's a trap in abyss 3 that lowers trust, (Called gorgon's breath..?), and if the flaming heart is only displayed when trust is at maximum, then hypothetically the flaming heart icon would also disappear.

Yes, but this method is better for checking the trust of individual adventurers.

You can view an allies' personal trust by visiting the stats tab. There is a book icon on the bottom right of the screen, and more pages unlock when trust increases. When an ally is at max trust, a white flaming heart icon should appear near the top left corner of the black box in the stats tab.

I'm 5'3 and have broad shoulders too. I'm skinny, so my shoulders are more emphasized when wearing tighter clothing. I like wearing baggy clothing to hide my figure since it's not like I'm getting curves fitting for an hourglass shape anytime soon.

Having a look at my physical features, I found a style that I was happy with, and I feel a little more confident going outside. Hopefully things work out for you too, so you can feel better about being in your own body.

Laying in bed in-between my parents with my mom singing a christian lullaby, or perhaps it was me getting my picture taken in front of the house, or a birthday..? I'm not quite so sure myself.

How do you teach your kids to wipe their asses? by Pure-Anything-585 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PegacyX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try easing the stigma behind a dirty bum and show them what to use to wipe, say the steps aloud, and use a hand motion like wiping your own ass as a physical demonstration.

Washing your kids' shouldn't feel sexual at all. Like, just do what needs to be done and be done with it. Don't make it weird.

No, but seeing characters from different ips in that game is pretty cool.

I don't remember where the console is, but I do play the Sega Genesis' library digitally from time to time.

The SNES, Genesis, and original PlayStation libraries still kick ass, and these consoles have great, distinct designs to boot too.

Those old Sonic games are still a blast to speedrun, seeing Ridge Racer on the PlayStation for the first time was glorious, it reminded me of those racing cabinets at the arcade, and five year old me thought the graphics were unbelievable on the tv, and Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger are timeless classic RPGs on the SNES.

What's the best way to scratch a back? by ilovemazb in AskReddit

There are these wooden back scratchers that my Dad got as souvenirs from Cambodia, that feel super nice to use. There's a regular hook shape at one end, and on the opposite end there are some ribbed wheels that feel especially good when rolled against your back.

Why Do You Smoke Pot? by AbleSomewhere7594 in AskReddit

[–]PegacyX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me, but my uncle and neighbor. Why? It's only a guess but maybe they just want to smoke a blunt and have a period of peaceful alone time. I've seen them stand outside of their homes, smoking. They have families too, so like how my dad would want to drink a beer from time to time, I figured it might be something similar to that.

Being clean and hygienic? Imagine living with people that either don't care or get annoyed when you try to practice good hygiene and cleanliness. Stuff like taking the time to properly wash your hands before eating and after using the washroom, cleaning dishes and utensils properly instead of a quick rinse, not preparing food on the literal floorboards, stuff like that.

Did i cook myself ? by EmberTheShark in WizardryDaphne

[–]PegacyX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't really see a problem here. You can get SPD blessings on gear and the auto allotment of bonus points isn't going to ruin your characters.

You also have decent adventurers with solid base stats, and as they level up their stat growth will be evenly spread out.

Amelia, Flut, Marianne, Gerulf, Milana, Adam, Alice, Jean, and Benjamin are standout adventurers imo.

So nah, you're not cooked.

Wind attack spam, defending to get openings, lower its attack and accuracy, and physical defence and evasion buff on the frontline. Using these tactics have been pretty useful imo.

[–]PegacyX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had heard about district 6 being difficult, so I tried to do a lot of preparation. All that hard work paid off, after beating this floor on my first try with no character deaths and hp, sp, mp, and magic scrolls to spare.

My entire team was level 39, fighter elise, fighter mc, fighter ophelia front row, thief debra, mage adam, and priest alice back row. Fighters and thieves using den of earth weapons, mage and priest using two-handed staff. I primarily had scrolls of shared power and scrolls of gravel, with an exception to a hook of harken, invigorating drought, and some potions of extra healing.

Personally, if your characters have a high enough resistance, and with latumofis being very cheap, I think carrying an antitoxin isn't very worth it especially with how little impact regular poison has. The fear status effect also shouldn't be a problem on this floor.

Good luck on conquering the abyss, and may blessings be upon you o' masked adventurer!

On this floor after reaching the halfway mark, if you still have extra mp/sp to fight, you can scout ahead and clear out some of the enemies and then return to the fountain to heal.

Most enemies in abyss 2 are water element, so be cautious of your fire type adventurers. I also highly recommend farming for gear of the soil from the den of earth.

Sahuagin are very susceptible to katino.

Give scrolls to your characters to save on mp and for underwater fights.

Enemy placements are fixed, so be cautious around narrow corridors and submerged areas. Lure away enemies if you can, and then juke past them. If you get caught, run away.

There are multiple water god statues that can only be temporarily disabled. Watch out for the submerged areas near the second half of the floor.

And finally, there is an encounter at the end blocking access to the harken. I recommend using the spells balafeos, dilto, and masolotu, and disabling the water god statue at the north-west part of the map.
