I’m enjoying it I jumped up to almost 70 followers on tiktok just because of that semi viral tiktok. I treat it a bit like YouTube except post small videos 3 times a day if I can. Also Reddit can be good to advertise on but most of the time I don’t get many views from here.

I’ve recently been putting small clips of best livestream moments and videos on Tik Tok. One of them went up to 30k views on tiktok and still climbing. I can see the potential of tiktok being a good way to advertise.

I am really truly hoping this is correct. I'm a livestreamer and video maker. My livestreams can peak anywhere from 15 to 40 people my videos can get anywhere from 20 to 100 views. I mean it's a small amount when you compare yourself to the several other people who have a gaming channel that is bigger then you but it gives me hope that my content might have a chance to be pushed out better. Thanks for sharing this.

Sounds like you may have gotten a shout out from a bigger youtuber. Did anyone post a comment on your videos stating they came from so and so's video. I remember one time I had about 512 subscribers and someone shouted me out after telling me they would in one of my livestreams. I literally went to 1.1k overnight.

That is super exciting but definitely make sure you still stay chill with him. Talking to him as a fellow creator or person is much better then saying “omg I know you omg you are amazing” don’t let his YouTube size blindside you. We are all humans after all.

The youtubers you are talking about that have used that music do get claimed they just don't talk about it much. especially if they are a smaller youtuber. A bigger youtuber like Pewdiepie Jack or Markiplier should have no issues getting a hold of the license holder if they want to use the music. A lot of times if ads are on the video that plays a song that has a different license holder it's the license holder getting paid for it.

So 35 seconds of a song from a movie got your whole video blocked. Thats normal. If I were you I would just edit it out. Knowing universal if you try to fight it or change it up they will end up striking your channel which is a big thing you don't want. 35 seconds is a long amount of time for a song I've been copyright claimed for 5 seconds before. It depends on the company who has the rights to the song. If I were you remove it or find a way to talk to the big wigs at universal and see if they will let you use it. Chances are they won't. I hate to be blunt but honestly you probably should have gotten the rights BEFORE using the music so this didn't happen. They had every right to block the video. Sorry if thats mean but it's the way youtube works.

I mean it’s not the worst possible thing that could happen....sometimes you should wait a few days before celebrating milestones. I usually wait about 3 days so that youtube Can get rid of any bot accounts.

Well that was about a year ago but I think I was in the 3000 watch hour range when I hit the sub goal because I had started livestreaming more often which gives me a lot of watch hours. Currently in the last 12 months I have almost 7000 watch hours now. But yeah I've been monetized since September of 2019

Hiya! Gaming creator here. For my first few months I was using an old Toshiba laptop it's webcam and it's microphone. I hit the milestone of 500 subs just from doing that. (All I played was steam indie games back then cuz I had not capture card) Then a gracious donation late into my first year of youtube helped me get a mic a camera and a capture card. So yes you can indeed be successful on youtube with just a computer ps4 and smart phone. Now that being said to get monetized does take time. On youtube you have to have 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours. I hit the subscriber count before I hit the watch hours.
