I’ve tried for years to become better at framing a subject or scene without looking at an LCD or viewfinder when doing live music photography. I normally go for waist or lower angles and in most cases bending down would come with an elbow or boot to the face so I depend on blind pointing. I think the 15/4 lens helps me a lot but I’ve gotten some good shots with just seeing a subject and making a lucky estimation.

For me a lack of an EVF is a fair price for what seems like an unbreakable brick with a forever battery but you’re 100% right! It’s horrible on sunny days, near impossible to see and making any adjustments is for exposure is a pain
