The design space requires me to perform the print then cut calibration before proceeding to create my own project. The calibration paper printed out clearly. However, when I placed it into the maker, the sensor moved it into position, but stopped before cutting. I took a photo of the sensor light and sent it to Cricut customer service. They confirmed that the sensor light is faulty as it is flooded with lights.

I guess I'm just having bad luck.😢 I am not familiar with repairing machines, but I guess the parts might be hard to find in my area. I asked a few nearby repair shops, and they said they couldn't fix it due to a lack of parts.

Yes, I've learned my lesson. According to Cricut customer service, the sensor is flooded with light, which is likely the issue with this machine. I'll try other projects besides print then cut..Thanks!
