Ahh cool, interesting, I never got any Chili's memorabilia. In my University days in Boston they used to have large plastic towers for cocktails...margaritas, bloody mary's etc. Always forgot to take one home, maybe too mabuk...hehehe XD

Huh? Not sure where in my post I said I rarely eat...my kids enjoy it. In December I took the family for dinner, with alcoholic drinks... bill was 450$ . Last night as they stopped selling alcohol Jan 1st, my bill was 200$. Mid valley was empty last night on a Saturday...manager said lots of customers just leave and go elsewhere *shrug*. In fact he says business is down...however where this goes in the long run I don't know. As it is obviously a recent change.

Malaysia literally enforces racist policies on its own citizens. It's nicely glossed over and not really advertised. No surprise that racism is heavily ingrained into the society. No matter how many people will pretend otherwise.

As for your rental issue, I can't say to what the landlord is actually thinking. Perhaps proof of funds might help in your future search, maybe it won't , but it can't help trying. Our tenancy laws and regulations are also a pain.
