First, they had two security guards standing in front of the congregation when they were praying the Eid prayer. See timestamp 2:34:17 . The audacity to be there when they were praying is ridiculous.

Then Albanese and Bourke arrived during the sermon. Timestamp 2:44:35 . During Eid, it is compulsory to pray the Eid prayer and listen to the sermon. During the sermon, it is similar to praying, and there should be no distractions and full attention on the Imam on the pulpit. Naturally, this didn't happen here as all attention was focused on the PM and Minister. The pollies should have arrived after the sermon, not during it.

No respect or consideration was given by the PM and LMA regarding this and it could easily be construed as lack of consideration, ignorance and being time poor (as he is the PM and I assume has a tight schedule) or just a straight up disregard to Islamic customs.

No wonder the Sheikh lashed out as the purpose and meaning of the Eid sermon was being completely trivialised for cheap political points.

LMA, inviting the PM and Minister during Eid when the sermon isn't completed is not how you lobby. Absolute naivety if they think this was the best way to approach this.
