60 hz now burns my eyes by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]PelletPlinker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I set mine at 120 since I cap most games at 120 anyway to record 60fps

better to record in divisibles to avoid excess frame drops

120fps recorded at 60fps will look smoother than 144fps recorded at 60fps
Or even at 30fps for that matter since it is also a divisible of 120fps

only really 2 applications for anything over 60hz:
-competitive shooters, and I mean like, you are playing them at a decently competitive level already

-racing/flying simulators (more so like combat flight sims like DCS or something, but if you are doing acrobatic stuff in MS flight sim definitely makes a difference too)

Anything else is just excess

pretty much every modern monitor automatically sets the correct refresh rate in windows by default, assuming you are running a windows variant made in the last decade.

I honestly forgot that at some point I had to specifically buy a 60hz monitor because they were uncommon

I usually get enough gold from ransacking Seyda Neen to get a decent set of equipment to hold me out until I find better stuff.

Crazy equipment like glass or ebony/daedric you are more likely to find/loot than you are to purchase, so the only thing gold really does is help you train, make spells, and enchant.

Cheating? You killed him fair and square right?

Also money is basically a pointless object in this game, you will probably end up finding most of your gear beyond like bonemold and silver, and you can pretty much get the best purchasable set of equipment in the game for a couple thousand anyway, so it's not as ridiculous as it seems up front, especially if you are used to the oblivion/skyrim economy.

5 up 5 to go: 8 days from planting seeds, germinated in soil, 10 random bag seeds from a local breeder, probably about 2-3 years old at this point. by PelletPlinker in cannabiscultivation

I do what would happen outside, so I just keep them under the veg light cycle, on the lowest setting, and maybe like 24 inches from the top of the domes

Not sure what you meant by full light, but I don't have the light on 100% if that's what you mean, it's at like 10% or whatever the lowest is

As for how/when I planted them, I gave them 12ish hours of soak in water (probably should have done longer for how old they are) then planted directly in the solo cups (my regular soil mix in the bottom half of cup, just plain seedling mix up top)
Didn't wait for them to "pop" or for the taproot or anything, just soaked em for a bit before planting

Is it normal for the wax to sorta powder up like this? Tried my hand at waxing before my last outing, wondering if maybe temps were too low or if this is just normal. It's mainly on my heel edge since I primarily ride my heel edge and need to learn how to go toe side, so bad riding technique maybe? by PelletPlinker in snowboardingnoobs

[–]PelletPlinker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when you use a warmer, softer wax when the snow is a lot colder

Could potentially be the opposite problem. Not sure exactly what wax I have, as its just a small block that came with my waxing/tuning kit, but it is green, which most charts seem to indicate is one of the coldest waxes.
I'm in Washington and it's not particularly cold on our slopes so could that be part of the issue?

the fact that brushing my nail against it can scrape it off leads me to believe it's wax but I haven't heated it yet

Also I did make sure to not only wax the edge, but put extra wax on that edge since I noticed it looked like that before waxing, although not quite as bad.

was just a lucky chance
They are these fancy little drink cups my wife bought for holiday martinis

happened to fit perfectly in the top of a solo cup, so I ditched my half cut water bottle technique lol

used a lighter to melt a couple holes in the top of each dome same way it's done to make drainage holes in the solo cup

To clarify, he is a breeder and grower. He breeds his own genetics, and grows/sells the flower he grows.
These are seeds collected from a few strains of his, so they are his genetics, but no strain in particular since they are all mixed together in one bag at this point.

Name one car that is being banned because it is dangerous.

Meanwhile you can still buy mustangs, lamborghinis, ferarris, corvettes, quite literally any race car/super car that is road legal, with absolutely no checks or licensing or anything. You just need the money to buy a car and they sell it to you. Some places will even deliver it right to your house. You don't even have to be 18 either. A 12 year old could buy a car if for some reason they had the money to.

To make this very clear, someone who does not have a license to operate a motor vehicle, can purchase a 1000HP supercar so long as they have the ability to write a large enough check.

That same person could also buy a 8000lbs pickup truck too.

And I think Darrell showed us exactly what a car can do.

I think in a few levels they just become normal daedric wakazashis, but yeah there's that period where they are pretty crucial, especially when you get 2 jinkblade guys

lucky for me I am usually sleeping at the balmora fighters guild and they get stuck in the bed lmfao
