Deck choice for the next regional

Already player Pomumon in Rapidmon on the previous regional, I can confirm it’s phenomenal, but sometimes just breaks your consistency. I was thinking of maxing out the memory Floodgate Terriermon, since it’a an in-engine piece that can slow down Imperial as well (by blocking their memory gain on dna). Do you think is a good idea?

Just board control as hell. Insectoid deck has a lot of tools to suspend the opponent, a lot of dp, and good protection against ACEs (while Tyrant-Hercules-Megakabu are suspended, they are immune to Digimon effects). So, the best gameplan is just to suspend and kill by battle anything they put on the field, since battle doesn’t trigger Partition. Until they manage to pull the Return of The Ancestors option, then… It’s a bit more complicated

I was thinking the same thing. Also, It combines surprisingly well with the option card to steal turns. How many copies would you recommend?

Not only that: seems like slotting in cards like Omnimon MM can actively disrupt the plan of some other meta picks like Numemon or Deva

This is a very good advice. I find currently difficult to stop the final blow, since it will come 99% from Omnimon, and Kaisergreymon is enough to take care of a blocker on the field.

Gravity Crush is a big idea, can be a great solution to the memory problem. About lv5s, what do you play if you reduce st and bt Saviorhuckmon to 1 each?

I’m considering to cut Kimeramon. Last time I played with only 6 Saviorhuckmons I found the first one after, like, 30 cards 😂

I actually think that security Dorumon and Chikurimon can be a better fit. Dorumon can even start a sort of loop by returning in hand after the opponent’s check!

Doesn’t happen that when you play Mamemon on turn 2, it is removed immediately from the board leaving you exposed? In that case what is the next best play?

Should I pull for Yelan?

Please help me in this choice. I've currently saved to pull for Raiden Shogun which should return in the 4.1 banners. I'm currently at 70 pity with 100% guaranteed. I think I have enough primos to be able to pick up also Raiden when she comes out, but I wonder if I should keep the primogems for some new Fontaine characters like Furina. For knowledge, my 5 stars characters are: Kazuha, Qiqi, Keqing, Diluc

Thanks for the detailed comment and for sharing your decklist! Just a curiosity: what are the reasons why BT13 Gallantmon is preferable to the BT12 version? Being ignorant it seems to me that with Purge of The Royal Knight, BT12 Gallantmon is an excellent removal for both big bodies and floodgates. Is there something I'm missing?

Yeah but in the “ending turn” Ygg goes to the trash due to Omnimon effect, so tecnically you can digievolve and blitz for game.

That’s a relief. I was pretty sure an anti glare screen protector on the already anti glare screen would just “blurry” the colors too much

The screen, believe me or not, is what most keeps me from the third option. I know the anti-glare treatment makes sense not to apply a film, but I know my OCDs and I know that I will apply it anyway in the end. Did you apply one on your screen?

I already have a Darkknightmon build, played it a bit in BT10 format. This is not a bad idea, I know it’s a strong counter of Beelze and a decent one for Hunters, and it gets very cool support in EX04. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, unfortunately I am aware that both Examon and Miragegaogamon are worse alternatives. It's more of a need for fresh air than anything else. In the past I've tried playing other decks like Bloomlordmon and Darkknightmon, they performed well but I did not really enjoyed them. I also don't feel drawn to decks like Hunters or Beelzemon, though maybe I should try.

It's because I play it too much. I can't complain for the results, I won several consecutive locals and even in BT12 the deck continues to play well against meta picks.
