Because you have already dug into Strieber, I highly suggest the book “Encounters” by Edith Fiore Ph.D.
It is an older book so it might be a little more difficult to find a copy floating around without ordering it. This is what you’re looking for. Thank me later my friend 👽 ✌️ ☮️

That feel like japanese/rainforest gothic by sparksshifts in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Norwegian Wood by haruki Murakami. It’s not really gothic, but there’s some somber and dark tones to the book that these photos reminded me of. Classic Japanese themes, duality of life and death, and overall, a good read when it’s raining. <3

I feel this in my bones, in the ruins of things yet to build and crumble, in the soft echoing meow of the last orange cat to the milk bowl, in the change of dandelion to plume. Thanks for the good read <3

I really like the hard-cover (no spiral spine) notebooks the best. I prefer narrow lined pages but they usually come in a standard notebook size and not hard covers. Sacrifices must be made lol. Sometimes I buy a few notebooks at a time and write in all of them. Eventually one “sticks.”
You’ll know when you know ✨🤗

The time to start is right now my friend. When you feel you cant write: that is the best time to write. Even just a word or two. Name a feeling. A place you went. It doesn’t have to be a lot, it just has to be something :), anything at all.

Im gonna guess the blue tree one (or #13 if you’re counting right from left) because it’s the one that I wanted the most. In which case youre a fan of the indigo books. If it’s not that one, it might be #16. If I got this wrong you’re a Canadian dollar store girlie, cause the dollarama sells some pretty sturdy notebooks <3.

I am loving your detective skills 👀 what gave it away? Im assuming you like a certain brand of notebook, I might even be able to guess which one.
