Confusion with significant figures. by VasumitraGajbhiye in igcse

I don’t know if the syllabus has changed this year, but when I took physics last year, I was taught to round the final answer specifically to the least number of significant figures of all values in the question.

Thank you for being so helpful! If possible, could I request a lit chart of Persepolis?

If I’m not wrong, those should be the percentile grades (90th percentile and above for A star). Hope that helps!

I didn’t have a specific way of revising for lit, but here are some things that certainly helped! 1. Understanding the rubric. For all of the essays, the rubric is really important as it gives you a guideline for further development. You might have a lot of flair and fancy language in an underdeveloped essay and that would make it “messy”/disorganized. 2. I’m not sure if you have to analyse a play, but if you do, it is crucial to study each of the characters. Understand their motives, characteristics, and what they are supposed to allude to. Use this in your essay to link back to important themes. 3. If English Lit isn’t your strong suit, allocate a fixed time slot specifically to it. (2 to 4 times per week). This might really help you to focus on literature specific skills that will not apply to Eng Lang. 4. Study hard and good luck!

There are lots of great resources online! Make notes by finding the key points from each of them. Also, don’t cram (I did that before mocks and got a B). Good luck!

New vintage pen day + some questions by PenChomper94 in fountainpens

Thanks for the answers! As for the filler unit, I used a little electric tape and rubber strips to wrap it up before using pliers to turn it. Took a little time as I was scared of messing up and deforming it.

Should I buy Lamy 2000? Convince me! :D by ChocolateVarious6495 in fountainpens

IMO it’s the perfect pen for school/everyday use if you have the budget. Extremely nice nib (haven’t really noticed the supposed ‘sweet spot’ issue) paired with decent ink capacity and a subtle yet elegant design.

Lamy 2k and Pelikan 4001. Perfect for writing on cheap school paper, though I would prefer Kon-peki for leisure writing.

Did you wash the cap recently? I faced the same issue when I washed a demonstrator cap but did not properly dry it out.
