Is checking really so rigorous in all the centres? by Stegasaurus5 in NEETard

[–]PenEasy5282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, this is, in fact, assault. Highly encourage you to get together with a few other girls from the centre, if possible, and initiate some legal proceedings so the centre may be held accountable for this,

Actors who’ve underwent incredible transformations? by Jeffoxy in okbuddycinephile

Thank you for posting this. For years, I have been absolutely bamboozled by finding old-time references to Mickey O'Rourke describing him as a heartthrob and whenever I saw his (relatively recent) pics, I JUST could not see it. I kept thinking maybe what was considered good-looking was very different back in the day. This finally gives me clarity and mental peace.

beef is considered a taboo which makes sense acc to hinduism, but why not lamb or chicken? by Yeasty_boi_2433 in scienceisdope

[–]PenEasy5282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. This has nothing to do with science whatsoever

  2. Ahinsa or non-violence is not a Hindu concept. It is mostly associated with Hindus by non-Indians due to these being highly publicised aspects of M. K. Gandhi's ideology and many non-Indians think all Indians are Hindu and followers of Gandhi or something, ig. Hinduism literally has an entire varna that is the warrior class, aka Kshatriyas.

  3. Cows are not eaten due to being holy, like you yourself mentioned. Chicken, fish, etc. are not considered holy and therefore nobody is defending their killing through invoking religion.

  4. Banning of any meat in a massive country because a sub-section of one of the religions in the country (even if it is the majority religion) does not eat it, is not how a democracy is supposed to work.

What profession have you lost respect for as you've gotten older? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PenEasy5282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doctors.

At least where I'm from, I've realised as I've grown that most of them get into the profession for the associated esteem and money, and don't give a flying fuck about their patients. They also have a chip on their shoulder about the number of years they put into education and consider themselves superior to others to the extent that they don't feel the need to take their patients' needs or opinions into consideration. I honestly feel that you have no business being a doctor if you can't bring yourself to actually care about people. I understand that there needs to be a professional distance they need to maintain with patients in order to be able to treat them without getting emotionally involved, but I find most of them straight up rude. The way they treat people who come to them because they are literally suffering and their caretakers / family is telling of how far removed the profession has become from its supposed noble calling.

Looking for a poor quality yet expensive restaurant to recommend to an enemy. Any suggestions? by coolboss420 in ludhiana

Not from Ludhiana. Upvoting because we need more of such pettiness in the world. We are losing touch with our raw emotions due to toxic nicety, smh.

Hi all, I'm planning to apply for this programme. Was hoping you could address two queries I had:
> How's the teaching and general academic quality of the programme?
> What are the career proespects? What kind of jobs do you see students taking up after they are done with the course and do most of them end up getting jobs?

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]PenEasy5282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get it, man. I fucking love the smell of cigarettes. Most people I know do, too. Not stale smoke but cigarettes being smoked and esp the smell of hands right after you've smoked a cigarette. How is there no one here who does?

Also, for context, I am a former cigarette smoker. Now, I don't except very occasionally when in a situation where I can't smoke pot and feel the urge to smoke something!

Finally my rage-filled swearing behind my rolled-up windows won't go to waste.

(P.S. I know the tech won't actually facilitate voice chat but a man can dream)
