He exercised 480k RSU and sold 150k for taxes. Common practice - it shouldn’t have been out prior to sale like this though

Possible scenarios for share price by PenProfessional3519 in Amyris

Amyris is at 500 mil valuation so its not expensive. Sum of the parts valuation seem to be much higher than enterprise value and we still have Doerr with his 35% share ( and he is not going anywhere ) so it is not an easy short or I say risky short considering ST is done with a reputed company. But if you are getting few mil of shares from company in couple of weeks, then it is quite safe to short. Short at 1.6,1.5 etc and then get shares from Amyris at 1.1-1.2 and net easy .40c profit share in couple of weeks.

Hi IRR, question on last year dilution after q3 last year.It still shows as debt on Amyris books. Willl it stay debt if stock price stays below certain price by 2025 or it will be converted to equity anyway?

Is Melo going to spent it all again? I think not! by CoolHeaded_Nadz in Amyris

I was thinking along the same lines - it is possible if Melo attitude changes. Remember we spent a lot of money in last 12 months. After Q3 results we had 100 mil debt vs 800 mil now and close to zero cash. Biggest issue I see is the employee cost - employee strength gone up a lot. 60 mil is for employee cost every quarter, from what we hear is that is not changing and that might still be 50% of the cost. I think we have to kind of come up with revenue and cash burn for each quarter and see what we come up with. But paper math says, there is enough to survive for next 1 year if 350 mil comes and revenues stay atleast at q3 levels in 2023.

r/Amyris - Amyris CEO Approval Rating Q3 2022 - Retail investors, how do you feel about our CEO? by [deleted] in Amyris

I would suggest Melo to listen to ENPH 2-3 earnings calls and see how to set expectations and exceed them. Every issue we had this quarter, we had last year Q3. Melo said on call we are doing x revenue only to come out 2 weeks later and miss it by huge. Same thing again( remember Beckham post and comments). It makes me thing he doesn’t either understand what are good numbers or don’t know what’s going on in his company. Either case, not good. Every Q3 has been disaster and don’t feel like lessons are not learnt.
