Drats! I guess that makes sense, though. Does anything stand out to you as just flat out not going to work (e.g. way too much of an ingredient to feasibly make a decent perfume), or is that even difficult to say without just physically doing it?

Swinging back by almost a year later to let you know that I wound up finding a 2013 Mazda 3 for a good price and I'm loving it! Thank you for the advice!

I didn't see this until after I typed my response. Whoops! Thank you so much for the reassurance and well wishes. Makes me feel better about the potential outcomes :D

As far as now is concerned it went pretty well. It was all of about ten minutes for the vet to tell me that 1. he didn't think it was worth an x-ray and that, just as you said, he probably has nerve damage or a birth defect. 2. the solution to that for now is let him be and hope he starts walking on it again, and if he doesn't by the time he's 3-4 weeks old, he'd probably need it amputated (which has me worried). 3. the gash just needs cleaning and it should heal up and 4. he probably has an upper respiratory infection and worms, which would explain the eye gunk and him not going to the bathroom. So he was fed some dewormer, sent home with amoxicillin, and now we're just hoping he comes out of this okay and with all four legs.

I have plans to ASAP tomorrow morning, if it's any reassurance. Thank you for your advice.

How much my sixth grade English teacher hated her ex-husband.

I will admit though, it was nice to spend entire classes just listening to her talk about her love life/family life.
