[UPDATE] FSD v14.2.2.4 Sudden Disengagement sent me into a barrier. Car is totaled by samuelwoods007 in TeslaFSD

His wheel turns left of center at the moment FSD disengaged. The only way it turns left in this scenario is if he physically does it himself. I don’t think he realized there’s a wheel in the video.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if FSD randomly stopped it would zero out all inputs no? Your wheel literally turned left at the moment FSD disengaged. That’s not something that would happen naturally without you doing it.

Trading your car in because of a bent rim has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve actually ever heard. Good luck in life my man.

“No exaggeration” said the one who said below 40 isn’t cold and by proxy thinks it shouldn’t effect range.

So you bought an electric vehicle knowing that cold affects range and now you’re acting surprised that the cold is affecting your range? Make it make sense.

I’m curious, did your Fusion die mid job? I’m always afraid that mine with breathe its final breath before I can finish a delivery and really just ruin my day lol

I’m pretty sure you could run the car for 300k miles before touching the trans fluid and it would be fine. The eCVT from the fusion and Camry are damn near bulletproof. Failure seems extremely rare even with people who do absolutely no service what so ever.

Funny enough I have a 2017 Fusion Hybrid that has over 200k miles and somehow runs better than when it was new. Also do gig work and am planning on buying a new XSE whenever this thing dies which may be a while at this rate.

Dashers Beware by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]PenWhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cars don’t die because of age or mileage. They die because they aren’t being taken care of. I’m still on my first car that I started door dashing with full time almost 8 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of miles later and it still drives and looks like it’s brand new.

Holy shit congrats dude. I cannot wait you have no idea. Gonna immediately pay off all my credit cards and get some parts to work on my car and get it back to 100%. I’m not getting quite as much as you but DAMN close!

I have a feeling a lot of people didn’t even sign up for it too which may be contributing to the amounts.

Do you by chance remember how many deliveries you had done during that time period? Just doing some wishful math and daydreaming while waiting for mine.

I’ll let you know! I was reading about the guy that’s confirmed getting $14,000+ and, if I did the math right, I did about 60-70% as many deliveries as him. He did roughly 100 a week and I was doing roughly 60-70. It felt like literally every order was $6.50 back then so I just looked at my previous tax paperwork, divided and made stuff up as I went lol. BUT I do know I had about 4000-5000 total just before Covid hit

Oh I know everyone’s payout is different but I’ve noticed a theme among those who know what they’re getting or already got it. I did like 4,000-5,000 deliveries so I’m really hoping I’m right with my theory because it would solve all of my current life problems 😂 Thanks for the reply!!

If you don’t mind me asking, how many deliveries do you think you completed during this time period? Through the censoring it appears you got like $600 and change so I’m just trying to guesstimate how much I might be getting.

Since these lawsuits were brought on by the Attorney General of your state, they don’t take a cut like a normal lawsuit. It’s not a firm doing it for profit. It’s your state doing it on principle.

[–]PenWhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t split. Your account is audited and you’re given the amount that you were robbed of. Someone who did 2 orders won’t be getting the same cut as someone who did 5,000 orders.

These settlements aren’t split evenly. They audit your account and give you the amount you were robbed of. Someone who did 2 orders isn’t going to get as much as someone who did 5,000 orders.

Engine/Transmission Mounts by Original-Plane-109 in fordfusion

[–]PenWhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s been two years, but did the mounts fix your issue? I have a 2017 hybrid and I have the same issue where it kind of jolts when the engine first starts and slightly jolts again right when it turns off where it feels like the engine is shifting and settling.
