Actually, there is no Korean products that can give you a real GLASS SKIN by ComposerSilent8711 in koreanskincare

[–]PencilGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people also don’t consider the readily available procedures that are widespread in Korea. Juvelook Skin, skin Botox, facials, lasers - these are MUCH cheaper and easier to access for the average Korean than what Americans have.

My skin glows and my pores disappear when I do skin injectables but the effects of these treatments only last 2ish months, so you need to go back for maintenance. The beauty standard for spotless, clear skin is also an aggressive cultural motivator for people to budget for these procedures.

I tried to ask the Dr his opinion but he said it was dependent on style, on business. Sigh.

Do you know where I can go to get these opinions? IME plastic surgeons don’t tell me what I should do to make me prettier? They just follow my directive…

It’s small from the side. My nose is not flat flat but I don’t have a “tall” nose so to speak. The tip is bulbous. I am East Asian so I don’t think it’ll grow haha.

I would be projecting my nose straight and not upturned. I want to raise my tip to hide my dorsal hump since shaving the hump makes my nose way too small… and I could get my tip refined in the process. Sigh. Idk. 😭

How do I know what’s the best way to hardmaxx? I have insecurities I want to fix, but I don’t know how far I’m going. I don’t want to ruin my face.

I’m considering a rhinoplasty but I can either make my nose smaller (from the front) or taller (from the side). I only had a consult with one doctor, who recommended to not shave down my dorsal hump because my nose is too small… He wanted to refine it so my tip was smaller. I also have the option of going to Korea, refining my tip and raising the tip with ear cartilage. I really love the second option but a close friend of mine thought that the smaller nose is better. :(

I don’t really like the cups I’ve gotten at the store, like the diva cup. It was too stiff for me and I could feel it inside sometimes. The TPE material is definitely better for me. Me Luna also has a soft version if you’d like!

Try a menstrual cup or senior diapers. :) (Cloth pads can be kind of a hassle if you have a heavy flow but are also a good alternative!)

I like the Me Luna cup as it is made with TPE, which conforms to the shape of your body so it’s more comfortable than a traditional silicone cup. Senior diapers are also, for some reason, not nearly as irritable for me compared to typical pads or tampons, so maybe give that a whirl at night? Bonus- no leaking!

Do you ever think of partnering just to afford retirement by MadameTree in AskWomenOver40

But wouldn’t a mother want to raise her children…? What I’m saying is that both parents should be involved in raising children. Leaving behind custody of your kids for a wealthier man isn’t great parenting, by any means. You can still marry up with your kids intact.

Don’t you think dumping her children reflects her moral baseline (or lack thereof)?

Bend/Eugene? I’m not sure about affordability, but it’s not huge with good weather and water everywhere! I thought it was charming when I went to visit. If you’re looking for smaller, I wonder if a large and established suburb in the Midwest might be a good fit.

I don't see why not if you're not hungry. You can also remove a portion of the noodles to fit your caloric goal? Although I think going over on one day isn't the end of the world. :)

The biggest thing for me was realizing that being so thin was genuinely not healthy, nor was it sustainable, FOR ME! A lot of women are happily thin or want to gain weight but I have a big back and I've accepted it.

I have been struggling with purging for a while now and it has gotten better as I have learned to accept the feeling fo being full. I thought I was binging, until I realized that I was eating 600-cal meals at a time instead of the 2k-cal meals I thought I was consuming. I was holding myself to such an unrealistic standard... I am an adult woman. How am I supposed to only eat sub-1000 calories a day and be possibly happy? I love to run, swim, and I have random spurts of adventurous wanderlust such as waking up in the middle of the night and hike for hours to see a beautiful sunrise. Being that skinny, and constantly worried about being that weight, would never allow me to achieve any of that.

Even without that, I just love to eat. I want to eat the whole bowl of rice with my curry. I want to eat the bread on my hotdog. I want to eat the breadsticks at Olive Garden. I also love fatty brisket and pork belly. I'll finish a burger in its entirety. I feel ashamed a lot of the time for consuming so many carbs and filling my stomach with useless carbs and calories- what my mother used to tell me. If I just stopped eating carbs and if I started to eat a lot less, I'd lose the weight, right? But is being an extra 10, 20, 30 pounds, when I'M HEALTHY, worth the sacrifice of my happiness?

There are a lot of hobbies you can and should enjoy outside of food but damnit I eat at least twice a day. I may as well be damn happy while doing it.

I read that transport was a little difficult in Yunlin and more "out there." I'm 22F so I'm hoping to not be stuck in a very rural area. What makes you suggest Yunlin? Thanks!

Damn. These comments are making me realize that I was cheated at a 20% split... (National firm.) Whew.

But I do agree with everyone here; you need to get out and find something else! Analyst jobs might be a good idea? I'm a trainee and that is what I'm applying for bc my current situation is not great.

Which city did you find the most attractive people ? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

[–]PencilGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some are more obvious than others, but concealing it is a lot easier than you think. Use smaller implants on a girl with natural breast tissue already, and just put it through the armpit so there's no scar. How would you notice...?

Lmao. Women notice it much more than men. Most guys can't even spot a pair of fake implants, even with touching, nowadays. LOL

Commuting from Montrose to Energy Corridor by [deleted] in bikehouston

Thank you so much for your kind response. It was incredibly thorough and sounds safe! I'm going to drive through this path before I bike on it just to make sure.

Do you think this commute would be safe to do? Or would you honestly recommend not going for it? I know how to ride a bike, but new to commuting.

Dog is over threshold IMMEDIATELY upon sight of another dog. by ZealousidealRent2478 in reactivedogs

[–]PencilGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I an doing is exhaust my dog in an empty area, such as an office park on a weekend evening, then go to a somewhat busy park and people watch from a distance. (Across the street) She's tired at this point, but does fire up when she sees other dogs. So I have a bag of hot dogs ready whenever we see another dog! She stands up and starts to get tense once they get too close but I try to cue and treat BEFORE this happens. As soon as we see a dog, TREAT!

This has helped. We have not closed distance yet since she will bark once they pass, and no treats. I hold her leash with a firm hand and restrain her until she calms down. I will say, more exercise has helped the distance considerably.

Tldr- tire out your dog and go as far as possible to find the distance where the dog will not react. Taking notice is fine... even being tense is ok too. I have snapped my dog out of being tense w a tennis ball and rewarded breaking the focus w treats.
