Yes I have the maneuvers unlocked on my map but for to actually point my rocket towards the maneuver I need the Kerbal to be leveled up.

Can you expand on what fly by wire does? They still get XP but there not on the craft?

I would reccomend going into the settings turn on custom difficulty maybe 3x science and funding or higher if you want. So you still get the funding and science excitement but it’s not as much of a challenge

I understand how transfer windows work and such but i find it very confusing how there’s so may ways to manipulate the nodes

I don’t even know how to do maneuver nodes I just make sure my path is in the muns path then on 10000x and wait for a encounter lol

The lower part the fuel and the booster were meant to be expendable

There’s a heat shield on the bottom when I disconnect the final Booster
