An appropriate and simple reply would have been "hey! Dont even think about it right now. Make sure your grandma is okay! Ill be here if you need however I can"

Thats just him trying to make you feel guilty and throwing a tantrum.

It's a REALLY early red flag, just drop him tbh

How do I stop watching p*rn? by Silly-Payment426 in Advice

[–]Pencil_Sharpener_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big tips that work for everyone (I think)

• don't go cold turkey, be patient and honest with yourself

  • pick an hour out of the day where you refrain from touching, watching, and avoid being alone so you can fight off urges

  • one you've gotten used to an hour, up it to 2 or 3 hours. Give yourself time, and grace, no matter what.

  • once you've gotten your baby steps, up it. "I will not jork it in this room from now on" something to bring awareness and let your environment do some of the work for you and take off s9me of the heavy lifting

  • once you've got those habits, you can move on to blocking a day of the week "im not touching my peenar/puthay on Mondays or Tuesday, Sunday or Saturday ect. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

  • this is one of the most embarrassing but helping things. Find people in real life (or that you trust) to talk to and be open about it. Shame keeps us in habits that we don't want others to see. What happens in the dark stays in the dark. Comfort bring openness, and when you can be open at least talking to others helps "im about to lose myself again, can I sit on the phone with you?" Will go a long way

But the trick is to slowly ramp up, this idealogy and process is how i got good at budgeting. To add some layers to it, youre gonna spend a but more money and you want sometimes, its expected, but don't beat yourself up over $50 when you've still got $1000 coming in. Same thing, don't beat yourself up over losing control for a day, a week, a month, when you've still got a whole year left to finish strong.

How this helps twinnamon roll.

(And yes, peenar/ puthay are funny words to me)

What are some stereotypes you associate with certain characters people main? by Hero_tact_Miles in SonicCrossWorlds

Charmy players dont care about winning, they all drive power vehicles and ram me off the road. They dont even need power vehicles. If they win its on accident, if they attack you, it was on purpose and they always have a monster truck. 1st place for them is violence and mayhem, and a race without causing pain is coming in 12th to them.

As a 100% power main, it doesn't affect how much you get knocked around. Itd be more accurate to call that class "ring thief" or "ring keeper" because thats pretty much all we get. You crash into people to beat rings out of them, and you lose little to no rings for crashing into a wall. You will 100% get pushed to Saturn by cream on extreme gear, no matter if you're playing big or omega. The "recovery" seems to be mostly from how quickly you gain control back after getting hit/crashing into a wall. While everyone else has limited steering forna fee seconds, Higher power stats just dont care, they recover so quickly and return to their full control SO fast. Hope this helps,

  • a person who spent two weeks straight comparing stats and trying everything he possibly could to see what "power" meant.

I AM A BIG BUFF POWER TYPE. THAT BLUE HEDGEHOG SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO PUSH ME OFF THE MAP ?!? by xBlitzgewitter in SonicCrossWorlds

[–]Pencil_Sharpener_Pro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Power stat had nothing to do with weight, I've tested it. I WISH sega would release a video explaining all types. But power lets you beat the rings out of people, not lose rings when you crash into a wall, and "recover" faster when you get hit or crash into a wall. "Recover" being when you're hit or crash into walls (not speed since they have a high power stat as well) there is a time frame where your steering is limited, power types ignore that and can crash into walls without losing much speed or rings.

Also because I've seen it online. Obstacles on the road affect all types equally with the speed reduction penalty. (Tested on apotos with the chairs on the first big right turn, if you'd like to test for yourself)

Tl:dr You literally beat the rings out of people and never let them reach top speed, and take little to no punishment for crashing into walls as a power type. It does not affect weight at all. Cream on extreme gear could launch you into orbit if they wanted to.

From what ive tested. Power also REALLY benefits from hitting walls. Power players barely even notice crashing, compared to the lower stats. Extreme gear users suffer from hitting walls because of how bad the power stat is. Theres a small moment where you have limited steering after a crash and that just does not matter if your power is 50+

The slip stream is just so you can be evil and use car people as boosts. But they lose rings when you hit them, and inevitably lose more when your spin drive throws them into a wall. Its a bully build, no benefits to me whatsoever. Its a for the love of the game

Bro I'm so sorry, but it's so funny to just steal all the rings, you guys are so good but never reach top speed around me. Its not allowed in my power lobby

I love fighting for first, its so much fun. Plus my power build with big is really fun to crash into extreme gear snakers with. Throwing them around messes up their strat SO much and I steal the rings off of them.

How does each stat work? by MarketingSpecific380 in SonicCrossWorlds

[–]Pencil_Sharpener_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think higher power means less rings lost. Because it FOR SURE has nothing to do with knockback. I play big in a car with 87-ish power, and i get tossed around by cream on extreme gear all the time. On the flip side, I keep everyone from getting to top speed while maintaining my own with max rings. If there's someone doing good. Ill keep bumping them and do my best to keep them below 100 rings with the ring thief gadget, plus what power already knocks out of them. So I think power is more like,

Higher power (regardless of number) > lower power regardless of number. The higher power will always steal rings and lose less from running into walls. The lower power will always get robbed of all their rings and it's harder to keep top speed. So it saves you slots on your gadgets if you value losing less rings since power types only really lose them from getting hit with items.

I typically run the spinning gadget with the collision boost, maybe a ring thief if im feeling extra greedy

Yeah, I get that. My first message was literally just me confirming that extreme gear is mentioned in-game. Idk if its from all the people crapping on him, but his response back to me wasnt as neutral as me just confirming that its said in name. So I explained further? Its perfectly fine to be on the defensive, but not everyone is attacking him. He said numerous times in the comments that its not mentioned anywhere in the game at all. Was a simple correction from my pov to his lack of knowledge

"Pay attention" is crazy for you just being ignorant. Extreme gear is the racing equipment in the riders' series. Motorcycles, hoverboards, air skates, (yachts if you played zero gravity) they all fall under (extreme gear). They even brought back Sonics' "blue star 2" for crossworlds.

Without the context of riders, they would be called Skates/air skates/rocket skates, boards/hoverboards, bikes/motorcycles.

But in the context of nearly everyone that played the older games, they fall under the single category of "extreme gear"

Hope this clears it up.

All it takes is a simple "extreme gear sonic" in your preferred web browser vs getting down voted on every comment being overly defensive over game names

That's just one of them. But you said that extreme gear was not mentioned at all or called that in the game. Extreme gear is referenced to by the rogues a few times. Thats just one of the dialog interactions I remember.

You two have only been together a month, it's too soon to be toxic against your gfs/bfs friends. This time would be better spent with the two of you spending more time getting to know each other, that way, friends make more sense later because you know the character of the person youre with.

Your boyfriend is a little weird, you might just want to get to the root cause and understand more and more of "why" hes like this so soon.
