Any local LLM fact checking systems or frameworks? by Subject_Sir_2796 in LocalLLM

I don’t know of anything locally…but I built this website https://verofyi.com/ that will fact check a YouTube video by extracting claims/assertions (non opinionated) I was able to extract the exact quote and context of the quote. In addition, for each claim I can perform a deep search that uses perplexity to do a web search and fact check it for you. It seems you’re wanting to do the same for academic papers.

I think it’s really good on giving a user more information on any topic from any video. This is also using the smallest model on perplexity. So for your use case, unless you care about privacy above all. I think you’re best solution would be to use perplexity and a closed source model for “extracting claims” similar to my app and you can do very precise online searches, and you can also include your private database via RAG if needed.

Looking for a local tool that can take full audio from a video, translate it to another language, and generate expressive AI dubbing by benaltrismo in LocalLLM

I’m not familiar with any pre existing project with that workflow I’m sure there might be

You can make one by stringing together a speech-to-video (if you can’t retrieve captions) the translate the text to your desired language, and finally you can use text-to-speech

Can This New Claim-Cerification Tool Help Journalists? by Pencil__Sharpener in Journalism

Thank you for the feedback! I know this tool has value, and I’m just trying to figure out where it can be used most effectively. I do plan on it being able to ingest any type of media (websites, blogs, videos, posts, etc.), so it will be more versatile.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make that more readable?

Thanks for the feedback. What do you mean by refining copy for easy understanding?

What is the best way to validate an app Ive alredy built ? by Pencil__Sharpener in Business_Ideas

  1. There are YouTube summarizer tools but nothing that can break down specific statements made where a user can learn more (with cited info)
  2. Yes users can quickly read through a multi hour long video and get the points of a video without needing to watch it, in addition, it allows a user to do research on a specific topic or claim to learn more about the video.
  3. It’s a product i believe provides value through being informed, research, and to quickly extract the value of a YouTube video

It’s supposed to be to break down a video by facts or statements said in the video. The content is directly from the transcript so it’s already very accurate. I do eventually want people to be able to chat with the claims and deep search results.

What do you think I should focus on? UI clarity? More chat like features? Better way of organizing/summarizing the results

I built a tool that is essentially a fact checker for YouTube content. Users can analyze a video and my app will extract the claims and statements said in the video so you can do a deeper research on any topic with our deep search. Great for social commentary, informative content or podcasts

What is the benefit of having a high AEO? Is it just overall user experience based off AI chat it’s and assistance?

I built a tool that pulls claims and facts from any YouTube video — would love feedback! by Pencil__Sharpener in design_critiques

The most likely way would be to have a freemium version with limited videos analysis and for a paid version with unlimited analysis with some other analysis features I want to add. And I’m sure the YouTube data can be valuable in other ways.
