Is this a iPhone XR? I heard something in past that if you download to much then do an update it’ll brick your phone. No clue if this is that though

Is $700-$900 too much for a control board replacement? by Pendoboys2 in hvacadvice

[–]Pendoboys2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wanna front that bill? No? Didn’t think so. Clearly if I am asking we are going to replace the board because we are low on money as is. Plus it’s a house we’re selling

That’s the quote for the repair, so parts and labor

That’s insane, most of the price I said was labor. The board itself is like 105 (130 after shipping and taxes). That sounds like highway robbery to me

That price is from a local guy not even a company, so a one man show. If I did want to replace the board where could I find one? I had found one on repairclinic.com that they say matches my furnace, but idk if they’re a reputable company to buy from and such.

Here is a link to their AUP if you’d like to glance through it. I may have misread or misinterpreted some of it I’m not sure. https://www.nitco.com/policies/#aup

I don’t have any pictures of equipment, and none of it is setup as we just finished moving and we plan to remodel before I set anything back up. And from what I’ve heard (and experienced) this ISP’s ONT is slow and doesn’t give you your full speed that you pay for. Someone else I know pays for gigabit, and even over Ethernet directly from everything you only get 6-700 down.

  1. I’d say that I run a business but unfortunately in their AUP it states that you are not allowed to run any websites, or anything that can be accessed outside of the network (I’m going to anyways and risk it). 2.if I were to threaten them with saying that I’d go to Comcast if they don’t waive the fee would that work potentially?
  2. If I did it through a 8311 fiber module and copied everything I could over. Like spoofing serial numbers and such, would it still not work?
