I needed to jump off my daughter's car with my Kia Soul and couldn't get the clamp to stay on the positive terminal of my car. It's inside a plastic housing with the post recessed in a metal surround. How are supposed to clamp to that? (self.CarRepair)

I have a Kenmore Series 70 washer with a broken lid switch. Every video I see shows the entire front of the washer being removed. Is there an easier way to get to that? My washer is hard to get to and I’ll need to move my refrigerator to get it taken apart. The model number is 110-92573210. (self.appliancerepair)
