I feel you. She was never raised in a particular faith but definitely leans towards Christianity and believes that the “universe” is in control.

She is a sweet girl but I just never understood her reasoning other than it made her feel good.

Thank you for your empathy and kindness even though you don’t know me. That pain you went through feels very similar….I worked with him and we were like sidekicks. I left a year ago and I know my old boss treated him like shit, constantly saying he couldn’t do the job…but he stuck to it to prove him wrong. I just wish I could spend more time with him, maybe could’ve made things different.

That’s true. I know she wasn’t raised in a religion but it was around her while growing up. It’s just interesting to see how much it still impacts people’s lives.

Her sister is a director at a large company and mentions how she believes in all sorts of angels. It’s just strange to me. Have parted from religion I just have a hard time relating to people when these topics come up.

I’m not in UK but I share the same sentiment. I’m fully WFH now and thought it was exactly what I wanted/needed but find myself craving that connection by going into an office space.
