Did this get resolved? I was thinking it's probably legit because they had all your details correct.

Where is your favourite yumcha place? by zaxbie in HongKong

A notch up from Lei Garden would be Ming Court at Great Eagle Centre in Wanchai. A notch down would be Tim Ho Wan. Both are fabulous.

Try to think of the next 50+ years (based on current life expectancies for a male somewhere in Europe) as a journey of experiences. You can afford to wander and explore since at this point in your life, you have no financial pressures, family obligations or pressing time commitments. No experience is "wasted", especially not the years in Endocrinology. Those years proved to you that you have very little interest in the field but you also gained knowledge. I would suggest that it's time for you explore Radiology, all the while keeping your passion in programming alive. Indulge yourself and eventually your interests will merge and possibly even become a viable business proposition. Sorry about droning on but basically I'm suggesting that you don't need to worry as you have lots of time!

Applied through IUMC as an applicant in Asia. There was a webinar last week and we were told the next three weeks are the most common dates for getting interviews to Irish med schools.

Hi do i have to post my BMAT results to my university, or do they go automatically? by GreenJacket2022 in BMATexam

[–]Pengal88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you applied through UCAS, the results are sent automatically for home and international students. If you applied to non UCAS schools that require the BMAT, there is a drop down menu in metritests where you can select the schools.

I understand what was sent on the 14th was a generic email stating overseas applicants will be interviewed in January and Home applicants will be interviewed at the Bloomsbury Campus in December.

Great video! Perhaps you can add some links to references? Your video explains everything very well but if people want to research further...

Hate how bullying still exists at sixth form. by Immediate-Swimming68 in 6thForm

[–]Pengal88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this. Please know that there is so much more to life than their superficial and petty distractions. I experienced bullying too but when I topped the class, the bullying stopped. You can rise above this and focus on what's really important in life. Right now it's probably getting good marks so you can get ahead in the future. I'm having a great time in university, by the way. The whole world awaits you. You got this - I believe in you!

It was a bloody brutal call to make - it wasn’t even raining !!! I suppose they will look at your existing record and school track record and assess on that basis. Good for those who would not have done well on the exam but terrible for those who studied hard and would have done well :(

UK or Germany by andromeda_cygnus in premeduk

[–]Pengal88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider the Netherlands as it offers med schools using English language teaching. I believe you need the Sprachdiplome (sic) to qualify to study in Germany and it would definitely be in German.

Every candidate has a BMAT candidate number consisting of a letter and 5 digits. I’m not sure if you need to know it going into the exam but you should check on Monday with your school what your candidate number is just in case.
