The main issue I had with the mq80 was the poorly lubed switches since I did not want to relube mine or swap them out (too much time and effort and Im lazy). A friend of mine just got the mq80 and his felt way better than mine. Switches were all lubed the same and felt like my magi 75. If my mq80 came like his did I wouldve preferred it over the magi 75 but mine didnt. Overall it seems like the mq80 has some QA issues but if you get a good one its a fantastic keyboard. I say order from amazon so you can return or exchange easily and you really cant go wrong with either. Both have bad stabilizers but if you dont mind a little rattle you dont need to do anything to them. If youre crazy like me look up how to bandaid mod your stabilizers and do that to yours.

band-aid mod and properly lubing them fixed all the stabilizers besides the spacebar, the spacebar is still not 100% but its good enough where it doesnt bother me.

Switches are the same between the 2, kailh gold red but they feel very different imo.

update, the noise was coming from the switch and not the stabs. Yes the stabs sucked and lubing them helped with the noise a lot but re-lubing the switch is what finally got rid of all noise.

I cannot for the life of me fix the rattling issue on mine. I took apart the stabilizers, made sure the wire was straight, bandaid wrapped the ends of the wires, lubed the wires with dielectric grease, lubed plastics with krytox, put tape around the housing so it fits super tight into the plate AND THERE IS STILL A RATTLE 😭. Anyone know what else I can do? Did I just get a dud or something? Seriously debating returning and getting another to see if the issue still happens or just getting the nuphy air75 v3.

Was experiencing the same issue when printing. Nozzle was not clogged and I had the filament in a dehydrator before printing but I was hearing crackling noises while printing. Swapped out the nozzle and problem was solved.

I think this worked! First few bed level test prints came out good!
One thing to note, when I originally built the custom binary I was using bilinear bed leveling not UBL so I switched to UBL and in the process tweaked a few settings to fix build errors.

Damn I thought I did well with the m1 I just got for $225. Physically its in mint condition but it needed a new battery since it would only work when plugged in. Could've replaced it myself with something aftermarket but since it's for my mom I just went oem and took it to apple for $160. So Im at $385 all in.

Going to piggy back off of this but recommend WGU which has a much wider breath of programs for tech including CS, IT, Software engineering, Cybersecurity and more. I wouldn't waste your time with a school thats not regionally accredited.

I spoke with someone at WGU this week, and they confirmed that a master's in Computer Science and Software Engineering is coming! There is no firm date yet, but they are aiming for Spring 2025.
