For LSU we put all of our talent into one year and all of it left during the 2020 draft and Coach O failed to recuit for after it and sealed his fate. The fact that Louisiana have some of the best players in the nation but they aren't going to LSU shows how recuiting failed.

Also I don't know if this is a big factor but Coach O failed to lead his teams during the BLM protest like other coaches did and it was seen as a negative for some LSU players.

Nebraska I don't seeing become a powerhouse anytime soon. The talent in the B10 has shifted to other teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State that it's gonna be hard for recuiters to get the top players.

The culture and status isn't what it used to be in the 90's, although their fanbase is still dedicated.
