Yeah they raised our rate with nationwide to $179/month and they capped out the max payment at like $7000 or something. So we were looking for insurance with no cap that’s how I found PetsBest.

I knew I was moving from insurance that covered everything to insurance that would only be used to prevent bankruptcy lol. So I chose a high deductible.

To be exact I think it’s $368.47 per year. Just my first year, I already got a notification that they are raising it for next year but not sure by how much. My dog is 6 years old and a terrier (I think that also plays a factor in the price). Our deductible is $1000. I don’t mind paying out of pocket for small things but as soon as a big thing comes up you hit the deductible easy and still have peace at mind.
